Soo Hee's pov

I got to go home from the hospital a long while ago and I have fully recovered. As a sign of appreciation, my family sent Jungkook a basket full of chocolates not too long ago even though he insisted that he wanted nothing back in return.

Eomma even said that he's welcome to come by our house anytime he wants, to hang out, eat meals together and things like that.

Moving on to Taejin, people are probably wondering just how in the world did he manage to escape jail with such tight security all around him. To put it simply, there was carelessness involved.

Apparently, he knew how to cough out blood and the police took him to the nearest clinic, thinking he was really sick. They did the most stupid thing a police could've done.

They let him go buy the medicine all by himself while they waited in the car, believing he'd come back with his medicine in hand. Of course, TaeJin never returned and it was finally too late for the police to realize that they were fooled.

TaeJin found a blunt knife protruding out of a trashbag behind a butcher's shop while he was on his way to my house which explains how he had it in his possession.

My parents didn't hesitate to file a report to sue the police who were responsible for TaeJin's escape. I had no say whatsoever in this and I just watched it all happen, the case being discussed about in the court until the part where the case had won.

Now, TaeJin was back in jail and all was getting better. Currently, appa was driving me to the convenient store I work at as my ghost hour shift was about to start.

The night was damp but hot so we had the windows down because the aircond was broken. There was this cemetery field where we'd pass by everytime I had to get to work. Usually, the place would be empty.

But not tonight, I saw a crowd gathering around a a newly dug up graveyard spot that had been covered back in soil. Because the windows were down, I could exactly hear what was going on there.

Prayers were recited and everyone had solemn faces while praying. Except for one, he was the closest to the tombstone and he was crying so much, I could hear them crystal clear.

His body shook vigorously and his figure was bent down, shielding his face from people's view. His loud sobs and cries filled the whole place and it didn't seem to stop anytime.

The scene broke my heart and I rolled my window up, not capable of watching the heart-wrenching scene any longer. "Poor guy, must've been someone he dearly loved" appa mentioned, glancing towards the graveyard for a second.

My only response was a slight nod and I kept my eyes focused on the road. A few minutes passed and the car came to a halt in front of the 7Eleven I work at.

"6:30 right? Seyoung-ie will pick u up then" he said. I nodded and got out of  the car to start my shift. I walked inside and the familiar melody of 7Eleven's played throughout the store, notifying whoever it was at the cashier that someone had just walked in.

Minhyuk, my co-worker, who looked like he was engrossed in reading something looked up. He smiled whn he saw me and packed his bags.

"The guard watching over the CCTVs is out sick. So be extra careful toningt if the drunkies come by. Anything happens, and u know the drill" he waved his phone in his hands in front of me. "Mkay" I muttered for I was used to his absence. The guard is always out sick.

He was always making up lame excuses to not attend work. Minhyuk and I knew this as the others had found him in a bar, drunk on the day he  supposedly caught a cold. I have no idea why the manager still keeps him with his bad behaviour of always slacking of.
