Chapter 16

3rd Pov

In the morning, Asha and Tara both are late to the kitchen. Almost entering at the same time, blushing. Both of their husbands kept them busy in the night and early morning, knowing there is no one in the house who would scold them for getting late.

They both quickly prepared the food for everyone. Sanjay and Daksh came downstairs yawning.

"Bhabhi kya hai khane mei?" Daksh asks.

"Aloo ke parathe" Tara replies from the kitchen.

"Maze hi karadiye aaj toh apne meri pyaari bhabhiyo" Sanjay says knowing he'll be eating atleast 5 paranthas.

Everyone comes downstairs and Tara and Asha serves them breakfast with tea.

"Chai ke Bina din bhi kya din hai" Jhavi says taking a sip.

"Bilkul sahi kaha jhanvi" Daksh says.

"Bhaiya?" Sanjay asks Vijender

"Haan"

"Wo aaj Mera dost aayega humare ghar. Kya wo aaj raat ke liye ruk sakta hai?"

"Kyu? Uska ghar nahi hai?" Veer says making Tara and Asha giggle.

"Aree bas aise hi"

"Aise waise kuch nahi. Ghar aaye theek hai par raat ko apne ghar jaye" Veer says taking his last bite.

"Par bhaiyaaa..."

"Sanjay, Veer sahi keh raha hai. Wo aasakta hai par raat ko bina wajah rukne ki koi zaroorat nahi hai" Vijender says supporting Veer. "Na toh wo humara rishtedaar aur na hi uski koi majboori"

"Theek hai bhaiya. Samajh gaya" Sanjay says focusing on his food.

Veer after washing his hands, dries ot with Tara's pallu like a habit. Soon Vijender and Veer leave for their work.
Tara and Asha also have their breakfast. They all do their work and the whole afternoon passes by in that.

"Bhabhi upar ghadde bichate hai" Sanjay suggests.

"Theek hai" Asha says getting up and taking Daksh and Jhanvi along her to help her in the task.

"Tara bhabhi aap pakode aur Chai Bana doge?"

"Haan zaroor" Tara says and goes to the kitchen.

Sanjay's friend, Shashwat arrives around 5pm. Sanjay takes him on the terrace to sit with everyone. They all chatter for an hour or two.

Tara and Asha come down to make dinner.

"Aaj unko zyada Der nahi hogyi?" Tara asks.

"Haan aaj Papa nahi haina toh saara kaam unn dono ko hi dekhna hoga"

"Ji Bhabhi"

They prepare the dinner but no one eats it. The sky has now turned dark and Tara and Asha again joins everyone on the terrace.

Sanjay runs downstairs and brings radio-cassette player.

"Ab hum isme gaane bajayge" he says proudly. Jhanvi, Daksh and Shashwat clap for him. While Tara and Asha are in someone's thought.

They play the songs and all start dancing, even Chetan.

"Bhabhi aap bhi aao" Jhanvi calls Asha and Tara. They also join them. After a while Tara starts enjoying the songs and dances happily without any care. They all are so involved in dancing that they forget to notice Vijender and Veer coming.

They both search in the whole house and then come to the Terrace to look at this scene. Daksh is the first person to notice them and he immediately stops dancing.

"Aree kya hua Daksh? Thak gaya kya? Pata hi tha mujhe tera" Sanjay says dancing. Vijender smiles looking Asha and Chetan dancing. He looks at them loving, standing by the doorframe with his arms crossed.

Veer just stares at Tara coming forward.  Jhanvi also notices him and stops dancing. He stands in front of Tara, who is surprised to see him so close.

"Gaana bandh Kar jaldi" Sanjay whispers to his friend who immediately takes the action and the music stops.

Veer takes out his hand from his pocket.
"Aaj toh humare saath saath Tara bhabhi bhi gayi" Jhanvi says to Daksh.

They didn't notice the bundle of notes until Veer is rotating it around Tara's head and then gives it to Sanjay.
Everyone is shocked to say the least knowing Veer's anger. But all Veer could see was his Tara dancing without any care.

Sanjay happily takes the money.

"Isme Mera bhi hissa hai" Daksh whispers while Jhanvi nods.

"Hatt" Sanjay says keeping the money in his pocket.

"Tum sabko pata hai hum kabse awaz laga rahe the" Veer says finally looking away from Tara. Vijender comes forward and takes Chetan from Asha.

"Tum sabko dhyaan rakhna chahiye" Vijender says and looks at Shashwat.

"Namaste bhaiya"

Vijender just nods his head and goes downstairs taking Chetan with him. Asha follows him behind.

Veer looks at Shashwat suspiciously while he greets him too. "Namaste bhaiya"

Veer frowns deepen but he doesn't respond much. He takes Tara to the corner and adjusts her pallu to his liking. She is covered by him so his back is to everyone.

Jhanvi and Daksh also leave while Shashwat tries to take glance at Tara.

"Kya kar raha hai?" Sanjay asks him, suddenly not liking his behavior. He noticed how while dancing he was trying to get close to Tara.

"Kuch bhi toh nahi"

"Tujhe pata haina Veer bhaiya ka" Sanjay warns him.

Shashwat turns to look at him keeping his hand on Sanjay's shoulder, his back to Veer and Tara.

"Haan pata hai. Par kuch bhi kaho teri Tara bhabhi maal lagti hai" he tries to whisper but Sanjay notices how Veer's head snap to look at him.

Sanjay immediately removes his hand from his shoulder. "Tu nikal jaldi" Sanjay says knowing he doesn't have much time to run away. Even if he does, Veer will find him.

Not even 10 seconds later, Veer holds him by his neck and turns Shashwat to face him. He does no talking with his mouth, only his hands and legs talk by making the contact with Shashwat's body.

Sanjay tries to stop him trying to his hand.

"Tu dhoor rahio warna tu hoga iski jagah" Veer warns him taking a break from his punch fest to Shashwat. He returns to his work, now kicking him. Sanjay runs to call Veer while Tara looks at the scene silently knowing he wouldn't stop with words.

Sanjay returns with Daksh and Vijender who immediately holds Veer. It takes all of their efforts and energy to stop him.

"Ja yaha se!" Vijender shout to Shashwat and he runs away. They continue to hold Veer for another 5 minutes to let the man run away otherwise they know Veer will make sure to catch him.

When Veer finally calms down, they leave him. He immediately slaps Sanjay and holds his collar. Tara runs to hold his shoulder.

"Yeh kaise dost hai tere?"

"Bhaiya mujhe sacchi nahi pata tha wo.." Sanjay replies scared for his life, his cheek stinging and a bell ringing in ear.

"Veer chord usko" Vijender says. Veer looks at Tara who is looking at him with pleading eyes.

"Agar tu mujhe kabhi bhi isse baat karta hua dikha toh yeh toh gaya par mein teri bhi haddi toduga" Veer says leaving his collar and going downstairs to his room.
