Niki paced around the living room, his phone pressed against his ear as he spoke to Jungwon, who was on the other side of the line. The plan was going well, but there was still so much to be done.

The party was supposed to be tomorrow for Eunha's actual birthday, but everyone decided to surprise her a day early, she'd never expect it.

"Is everything set up at the café?" Niki asked, lowering his voice as he glanced toward the kitchen.

"Yeah, everything's in place." Jungwon replied. "Just need you to keep her busy and bring her here."

Niki peeked around the corner. Eunha was already in the kitchen, sitting at the counter with a bowl of cereal in front of her. She didn't suspect a thing. Good. "She's eating right now. I'll take her out in a bit."

Jungwon chuckled softly through the phone. "Just make sure she doesn't catch on."

"Don't worry, I've got this." Niki hung up, pocketing his phone and walking into the kitchen, trying to act as casual as possible. He leaned against the counter, watching Eunha as she munched on her breakfast.

"Morning." he greeted with a smile.

Eunha looked up, mid-bite. "Morning. You're up early." she commented, raising an eyebrow at him. "Something on your mind?"

Niki shrugged, trying to seem nonchalant. "Nah, just figured we could spend the day together. You know, do something fun. How about shopping?"

Eunha narrowed her eyes at him, clearly suspicious. "Shopping? We just did shopping a week ago."

Niki smiled, keeping his cool. "There is nothing to do and since I'm in a good mood today I'm going to treat you."

Eunha took another bite of her cereal. "No I can't accept, you just spoiled me last time."

Niki raised his hands in defense, trying to look as innocent as possible. "I'm going to buy you food."

"Fine." she sighed, finishing her bowl. "But whatever food I want."

"Deal." Niki said quickly, relieved she wasn't pushing too much. "Get dressed. We're heading out in a bit."

Eunha shrugged, not suspecting anything as she headed to her room to change.

Niki, on the other hand, took a deep breath. The hardest part was going to be convincing her to wear the dress later, but he'd figure that out when they got to the store.

All he needed to do was stall long enough for the group to finish setting up.

A little while later, they were walking through the busy shopping district, browsing different stores.

Niki was doing his best to keep Eunha distracted, pointing out random things in shop windows and suggesting she try on clothes.

But nothing caught her interest. They had been walking for almost an hour when they finally stopped in front of a boutique that Niki knew had the perfect dress.

"Let's check this place out." Niki suggested, nudging Eunha toward the entrance.

"I don't know." Eunha hesitated, glancing at the dresses displayed in the window. "They look kind of fancy."

"Exactly." Niki grinned, pushing open the door. "You should try something different for once."

Eunha shot him a skeptical look but followed him inside.

As soon as they walked in, Niki began scanning the racks, quickly spotting a dress he had already mentally picked out earlier.

He pulled it off the rack, a simple yet elegant light white dress with delicate lace detailing. "Here, try this on."

Eunha looked at the dress and then back at Niki. "Why are you so interested in what I wear today?"

"I'm just in a generous mood." he shrugged, avoiding her eyes.

"You're acting really weird," she said, but took the dress anyway. "Fine, I'll try it on."

Niki waited outside the dressing room, glancing at his phone to check the time. He hoped the group was making progress because he didn't know how much longer he could keep the charade going.

A few minutes later, the dressing room door opened, and Eunha stepped out, wearing the dress.

Niki's breath hitched for a moment. She looked stunning. The soft white fabric complimented her skin perfectly, and the lace gave it a delicate touch.

Eunha turned to him, still adjusting the straps. "Well? What do you think?"

"You look amazing." Niki said, his voice a little more sincere than he intended. "You should wear it out."

"Wear it out?" she repeated, confused. "Why?"

"Because you look great." Niki said quickly, trying to cover up. "Why not show it off?"

Eunha raised an eyebrow, clearly still skeptical. "You're being weird again."

"Trust me." he insisted. "Just wear it. Let's grab something to eat, and you can keep it on."

Eunha hesitated but eventually nodded. "Fine. But I'm holding you to that food promise."

Once they paid, they left the store and Niki led her toward the café, making sure to take a longer route to give the others more time.

As they approached the café, Eunha frowned. "Wait, aren't we heading toward that place we always go to? Why there?"

Niki shrugged, trying to play it off. "Figured it'd be nice to stop by. It's quieter today."

She looked at him suspiciously but didn't say anything. When they finally arrived at the café, Niki held the door open for her, and the moment she stepped inside, the lights flickered on.

"SURPRISE!"
