Gwen smiled and ran up to the person and jumped up onto him, wrapping her legs around their back and hugging their neck. "I missed you, baby!" Baby? What the fuck? Monet had her mouth widened out of shock, her head slowly turning towards me. It's like her eyes were speaking to me on how shocked she was. The person smiled and let Gwen down off of the person. "I missed you too, babe. How's everyone else?" Jace laughs and walks up to the person and pats his back, "Dude, Arthur, where the fuck have you been?" I was a bit shocked, I havent ever met Arthur before, so I'm assuming he's new to our group.

"My bad, guys. I've just been too carried away with my school work and more of chores than anything. I'm lucky enough that my father even let me come with you guys for the summer. " Arthur replies while he looks over at me, smirking a bit. "And who's this?" I narrow my eyes a bit, a bit skeptical about him. "I'm Priscilla, nice to meet you, Arthur." I lend out my hand infront of him, expecting a handshake as a form of greeting. He instead bowed his head a bit and pushed past me, walking into his cabin. I always wondered why there were an extra cabin when we first got here.

"Sorry about him, he's new to our group and we completely forgot to introduce him to you or even mention him. Our main focus was us actually arriving at the campsite." Jace reassures me, rubbing my shoulder and walking towards Arthur's cabin. Who does Arthur think he is? Acting superior because he joined late. The only thing racing through my mind was why the hell Gwen was messing with my boyfriend but has a boyfriend of her own? But of course, I hear footsteps arriving behind me, it was Gwen. Before she could even speak, I interrupted her while crossing my arms. "What makes you think you can mess with my boyfriend and continue to have one of your own? Stop messing with mine and politely fuck off." I firmly tell her, pushing her away from me and walking away. I left Gwen speechless, I didnt mean to be that rude, I just needed her to understand how fucked up that is.

I saw Abel walking over to me, but I chose to ignore it. I didnt need that enormous amount of drama in my life right now. "You alright? I know what you're thinking, and its fucked up I know." Monet wrapped her arms around me and hugged me, speaking to me in a very nice but annoyed tone. "I'm tryna' tell her, Cilla. She still doesnt get it through her big head." Monet locked eyes with Abel and rolled her eyes, standing in front of me and crossed her arms. "She doesnt wanna speak to you, Abel." Abel looked over at me from behind, tilting his head to see me trying to hide my face. "Alright. Just so you know, Cilla. I didn't even know she had a boyfriend." He walked away towards the starting of the woods, getting ready for the games.

Meanwhile, Arthur and Jace were inside of Arthurs cabin, letting him unpack. "Whats up with you and your father?" Jace asked him, Arthur's eyes narrowing with an offensive glare. Jace noticed he offended him, so he helped him unpack. "Sorry, I meant like... the reason you were late to come over here. But, like I said. You got here just in time." He reassured him, then watching Arthur smile a bit and cleared his throat. "I had some business I needed to take care of before I got here, Jace. You know that." He reminded Jace, smiling and putting away his things. "Right sorry, just thought I should know." Arthur looked back at him and let out a sarcastic chuckle, "Dont you ever think my business is any of your concern, cause' it's not. Got that?" Arthur got up and walked out of the cabin, leaving Jace on the floor while putting his things away.

Once everyone was settled, Abel was telling Arthur about the games and the rules that applied since it would be his first ever games for our group. Abel kept explaining to him about the games and rules. "One of the biggest rules is to have fun mainly–" Before Abel could finish, Arthur interrupted him while trying to understand the rules. "Right, one question. What about the alcohol? Wheres that at?" Abel let out a chuckle and pointed to a table where all of it was. "There will be drinks before, during, and maybe after the games. If you need more of the info, you can always go to Jace." Abel replies before going to the starting line. The breeze kept getting colder and colder the longer we all stood in our sections. Jace then walked up in between our sections. The starting of the line started at the beginning of the forest. I saw him wiping both of his eyes with a tissue before he spoke up, I wondered what was wrong with him, but I didnt wanna make a huge scene. "Welcome to this years Hunger Games!" We all laughed under our breath as Jace reclaims his welcoming, clearing his throat. "I mean, welcome to this summers games! And yes, I dont have a title for it, still working on it." There was a 5 second silence before he spoke again, "Anywho, this summers games will be the most exciting and thrilling thing you'll ever feel this summer!" As Jace kept thinking of what to say for his intro, I look over at Monet giving me a thumbs up, reading her lips that says "We can do this." Gwen motioned me to pay attention to Jace explaining, as if I wasnt here for all the games we played throughout the years. Jace spoke up loudly since some of us weren't paying attention, "Yoohoo! Up here! You're going to need these rules this year. This year, there will be no lightsticks." We all gasped and shouted, feeling confused. "Are you serious?! We had lightsticks every single year." Monet shouted at Jace, Jace tries to explain himself but everyone kept talking over him. "Everyone quiet, hes trying to explain." I speak up, making everyone quiet to listen.
