"Happy birthday pretty girl." X muttered, grabbing Ivory's right hand in his, he kissed it, catching sight of the ring he bought her months ago still on her finger which made him smirk a little. He hadn't even noticed she was still wearing it.
Ivy took a shaky breath looking at him as they stood face to face in her hotel room. His gaze was still hard due to the situation they just got out of, but his eyes... they told a whole other story. They held so much admiration in them, and she could tell it was all for her. It was so much more different, much more intense than the way he looked at her a few months ago, almost as if he were seeing her for the first time, or perhaps seeing her in a way he'd been holding back for too long.
After the scene down at the wedding hall, Jayce decided that leaving peacefully would be his best option, but not before he threw a tantrum and destroyed all of the decorations and pushed and shoved away press who questioned him, breaking a few cameras in the process. Ivy couldn't help but to feel amused watching him react in such a way, it wasn't making his image look any better.
But after he left, strangely, Ivory saw her mother following him out. Part of her wondered what the hell kind of attachment those two had, if she didn't know any better she'd swear Irene was fucking him.
After the departure of those two, the press then turned their attention to her and Xaier, asking question after question, guests hounding her trying to figure out everything that happened and wondering what was going to happen next, which Ivory expected. She didn't answer any questions anyone threw at her, her only response was. "Wedding is over, go home." before she walked from the altar, but not before grabbing a hold of Xaier's hand on her way out and leading him out of the wedding hall as the press attempted to chase her down to her hotel room.
Luckily, Julius was there and a few more security who were still on her side, and they protected her as her and X made a swift exit.
She didn't say much to him on the way out, in fact she didn't say anything at all. Ivory was still in the process of even gathering her thoughts to how this night went with X being here. She didn't expect his presence, yet she should've known, but she wasn't quite sure if she was ready to see him just yet or have that talk that they so desperately needed to have.
Ivory knew she wasn't moving on anytime soon, the time she spent with herself help her get a lot more in tune with her feelings and emotions. She loved Xaier and it wouldn't be going away, she couldn't even fathom the thought of another man touching her or being intimate with anyone else. She wanted to be with him, she yearned to be in his arms and talk to him, become intimate and then experience all the aftercare he provided her with.
