"SIRIUS BLACK'S HALLOWEEN SLASH BIRTHDAY PARTY TOMORROW NIGHT IN GRYFFINDOR COMMON ROOM AT SEVEN PM!"
James Potter and Peter Pettigrew walked past Katya and Alice holding pamphlets with the words 'SIRIUS' EPIC BDAY' inscribed on the yellow parchment. It reminds Katya of the times when she and Annabelle would sneak out and walk the streets of Paris, often coming across men and women holding similar things.
She was sure she had a few from those days, she always used to take them as a token of their rebellious trip and pasted them into a purple journal she had somewhere in her bag.
"Fortescue, you better come, Frank will be so disappointed in you," Potter said, throwing a paper aeroplane at her head.
Alice smiled and narrowed her eyes, "Maybe if you shut up Potter, I will." Katya caught sight of Lily's red hair from somewhere in the crowd, a white blonde head beside her as well.
"Get out of the way Potter!" Lily yelled. She elbowed James in the side and he tripped on Peter's shoe laces. The scene folded in slow motion for Katya, and she could help but let out a laugh along with Alice and the rest of the people in the packed corridor.
Potter's head hit the ground with a thud and Peter stumbled to the ground to help his friend up. Lily didn't spare the boy a glance and aggressively passed the boys and the laughing students.
"Why are people so incompetent today? I just gave three boys detention for spray painting 'Long Live David Bowie' on the dungeon corridor!"
"Long live David Bowie is a perfectly good thing to write on the wall," Marlene said, wrapping her arm around Lily. "Or something like 'Queen Is Amazing'"
Lily shook her head. "Personally I prefer ABBA, they're more fun, Bohemian Rhapsody is kind of depressing," she said.
"Lily, I can't believe you just said that!" An extremely tall boy appeared beside Katya, arms folded and in a pair of Dr Martens. "Bohemian Rhapsody is a classic, you can't hate it."
Marlene waved her arms around stupidly then pointed at the boy. "Listen to Remus for God sake Lily! I assume you're in charge of music tomorrow night."
He nodded. "I would kill Sirius if he didn't let me."
