You huddle closer to yourself— reaching the point you are unable to stop your shaking.

You hadn't slept at all through the night, the cold temperatures being too much for you to trust closing your eyes. While you think you might have just been slightly overdramatic, you weren't in the mood to accidentally die just yet.

The sun finally had begun to rise when you were set at a standstill...

Wake the strangers that saved you and deal with the possibility of irritating them, leaving you stuck with unhappy guides and the secondary possibility of them leaving you.

You don't know how loyal they are to whoever commanded them to save you. (-and you DEFINITELY don't know the way back to your village...)

Or resume shaking till the sun rises at its peak, continuing to feel your heart rattle in your chest till you collapse from exhaustion.

Your brain hurts after staring straight into the dark and cold for so long... you can't stand it anymore.

You choose the latter, forcing your body up.

But before you can move to awaken any of them— they all shoot up looking ready to fight. It seems the rustling from your movement was enough of a wakeup call.

You all stare at each other for a moment before you break the silence.

"Uh... morning? Y'all ready to head out?"

The shortest groans... the other two quickly get on their feet seeing your state. Choosing to clean up their tracks before preparing to take off again... but thankfully the snow had done most of the work.

They don't say anything but from their eyes you can tell it's not a pretty sight.

You walk over to the one still laying on the ground, clearly unhappy about being awake so 'early'...

When he notices your presence, he quickly shoots up with a sheepish laugh.

"Oh— uh... good morning! Heh heh, what a wonderful— OH MY FIRST SPINJITSU MASTER. What happened to you?! Were you attacked by wolves?!"

You furrow your brow. "Well, it was kind of windy last night... and I did sleep against a tree."

He gives you a nervous look realizing what he said.

"Uh... right!" He clears his throat, "It wasn't that cold, was it?" He attempts to speak to himself... but the blabbermouth was a decibel too high.

Your eye twitches as you quickly snatch his mask off. You feel the padding in it and your irritation grows... you were so worried about upsetting this jerk?!

You look up to see short fluffy hair and a shocked face full of freckles quickly flushing from the change in temperature.

Oh... a cute jerk.

"Holy crap— ok. Yeah. It's cold! Give it back!" He snatches the mask back, before you can pull away and tugs it back on as fast as he can.

He shudders, "H-how are you not dead yet? That was horrible!"

"She will be if we don't get moving. Is everything taken care of over there or is there something more important than getting her to Sensei happening? Hmm, Jay?" The two of you quickly make your way over to the other two.

"Nope— let's go. I need to get out of this freezing hell." You brush off your nightgown's skirt and motion for everyone to start moving.

Hours later, filled with awkward silence (or Jay complaining about the walk) you make your way to the supposed location their Sensei was residing.

A giant mountain with more stairs chiseled in than there are stars in the sky leading up to a monastery.
