"Are you boys single?" the woman asks, walking over to Eddie and Buck as they leaned against the ladder truck. The two glanced at each other, a little confused by her actions. They'd just saved her skydiving guide from hanging out of the open hatch of a plane. The woman that had been with her was her daughter.

"This guy? He's gonna be getting married in a couple of days." Eddie said, jerking his thumb at Buck as the firefighter shoved him lightly. "What? It's true. We got your bachelor party going on tomorrow and everything."

"And this guy is hopelessly in love with my soon-to-be husband's best friend. So unfortunately, we're both spoken for." Buck states, Eddie rolling his eyes at the action.

"I am not hopelessly in love with him. There's hope there, we just gotta give it time." Eddie sassed, walking towards the compartments to put away the harness and goggles he'd been wearing.

"Come on, even Stiles calls it puppy love. And it fits, considering what you two are." Buck teased, grinning mockingly as Eddie turned and looked at him.

"Hey, Cap. I think Buck wants to go skydiving!" Eddie hollered, Bobby chuckling slightly as the two firefighters climbed into the vehicle after the rest of their coworkers.

Stiles and Buck milled about the dining room and kitchen that night, the former cleaning dishes while the latter was handling leftovers and shuttling the dishes to the sink. They'd just had the rehearsal dinner for the wedding in a couple of days, which went off astoundingly well for their luck. Scott was serving as Stiles' Best Man, and Eddie Buck's, so the two had agreed to do their own toasts, but only during the actual reception. It was a weird promise between the two, but Buck and Stiles weren't going to stop them. After dinner had finished, Liam, Alex, and Maddie had all retreated to their respective room, retiring for the night after the social drain and hearty meal they'd had. An added perk of Liam still staying with them was that he'd be able to stick around and watch Alex while the two newly weds went on their honeymoon.

"So, how anxious are you?" Stiles asks, not looking up from where he was scrubbing at the plates. "I mean, we won't be able to see each other after we leave for our respective bachelor parties until the ceremony. That's gonna definitely suck."

"Oh, that's adorable. See, it's gonna suck for me even more, since I'm running errands until an hour before we leave for our parties. So I get even less time with you before we tie the knot." Buck states, moving over and setting plates down next to the sink. Buck snaked his arms around Stiles' waist as the phoenix moved his head to where Buck rested his on his shoulders. Kissing the man's cheek, Stiles patted it with a soggy hand, Buck gasping in surprise. "Are you trying to start something, Mr Stilinski?"

"I don't know, Mr Buckley, is it something you'll be able to finish?" Stiles inquired, reaching over and grabbing the sprayer. Buck's eyes widened at the move, holding his hands up in surrender before Stiles could even compress the trigger. "I thought as much." Stiles made a motion of blowing on a smoking gun barrel, letting the sprayer retract back into the counter.

"So, what's on the docket for tomorrow? Since Grey gave you the day off." Buck questioned, loading the cleaned dishes into the dishwasher as Stiles continued scrubbing at the ones he was doing.

"Well, most of tomorrow is going to be spent putting the final touches on the backyard. After that, the caterers just need to finalize some stuff and then everything will be golden." Stiles answered, handing the last plate to Buck as he slotted it into the appliance. "Though, knowing our luck, I made sure to have Lucy on prowling duty. She's invested in this thing, so she's gonna make sure nothing happens."
