A week passed, and Zariel continued his rigorous training. Despite his efforts, he had hit a wall that seemed impossible to overcome. Even on the weekends, he was in the forest, pushing himself to his limits. One day, while he was deep in training, Instructor Seraphina appeared.

"Have you hit the wall?" she asked, her voice cutting through the stillness of the forest.

Zariel looked up, sweat pouring down his face. "As expected, you already know my condition, Instructor."

Seraphina nodded. "Velgrim, you are using both mana and aura. You have a talent that even the Ashborne family rarely sees. But that is also the reason you are hitting this wall. In magic, there's a concept called the mana circle. Mages become strong by creating additional circles inside the primary one, cultivating their mana. Aura works differently. We call it the aura circle, but unlike mana circles, you cannot build additional circles inside it. Instead, you must build your physical body to handle each new aura circle."

Zariel listened intently as Seraphina continued, "If your aura becomes a perfect first circle, you then need to train and build a separate one. If you tried to combine aura circles like mages do with mana circles, your heart would burst from the power and you would die. But you, Velgrim, possess both mana and aura."

"Then what should I do, Instructor?" Zariel asked, frustration evident in his voice. Even in my past life, I only used mana. This is a challenge I've never faced before, he thought.

Seraphina looked thoughtful. "Why don't you try to combine them? I don't know how, because that is not my power. But look, Velgrim, let me show you the power of a perfect first aura circle." She swung her sword downward, and the forest around them was obliterated, the sheer force of the attack leaving a swath of destruction in its wake.

"Not everyone who finishes their first aura circle is as strong as I am," Seraphina explained. "It depends on how the user builds it. Your mana and aura seem to be fighting each other. If you can't resolve this conflict, it will be such a waste of your potential."

"Go to Instructor Althea," she advised. "She can help you with her theory book."

With that, Seraphina walked away, leaving Zariel staring at the damage she had caused with just a fraction of her power. He felt a mix of awe and frustration. Even I, Zariel Ravenshadow, do not know how to solve this. I have amazing power, yet I don't know how to use it. How can I defeat the Twelve Divine Gods if I can't control my own abilities?

Years have passed, and the methods to become strong have evolved. The techniques used today are new and seemingly easier compared to those from my generation. Yet, they are weaker. I knew swordsmen who could cleave mountains without using aura, he thought, a sigh escaping his lips. I need to solve this power and completely control it as fast as I can.

Determined to find a solution, Zariel walked back to his dorm. The journey back was filled with thoughts of his training and the challenges ahead. As he reached the dormitory, he resolved to visit Instructor Althea the next day, hoping she could provide the insight he desperately needed.

The next morning, Zariel found himself standing before Instructor Althea's study. He knocked on the door, and a soft voice beckoned him inside. Althea, a petite woman with sharp eyes and an aura of wisdom, looked up from her desk filled with books and scrolls.

"Ah, Velgrim, I've been expecting you," she said, her eyes twinkling with curiosity. "Seraphina told me you might be visiting."

Zariel nodded. "Instructor, I need your help. I'm struggling to balance my mana and aura. They seem to be in constant conflict."

Althea gestured for him to sit. "Balancing both mana and aura is indeed a rare and challenging feat. But it is not impossible. Let's start by understanding the fundamentals of both forces and how they interact within your body."

For the rest of the day, Zariel delved into the theory of mana and aura with Althea, her knowledge and insights providing new perspectives. The more he learned, the more he realized that the key to his power lay not just in brute strength but in harmony and balance.

As night fell, Zariel returned to his dorm, his mind brimming with new ideas and strategies. He felt a renewed sense of purpose. The path ahead was still fraught with challenges, but now he had a direction. The journey to mastering his unique abilities was just beginning, and he was ready to face whatever came his way.
