Episode 2: Quinn Rosei
The next day, Tory was determined to see the girl who had captivated him last night. He wasn't a regular at clubs, but for Wyatt, he'd gladly become one.
"I saw the pictures on your phone," his mother, Gina, teased him with a wink. Tory didn't bother locking his phone-his parents had free access to it anytime. Although he was a grown man, they still made him feel like he was fifteen.
"Why were you snooping through my phone?" he asked, trying to hide a blush.
"Your ex called. I had to let her know my sweet son was asleep," Gina replied with a mischievous smile, playfully licking her lips. Tory laughed, grateful for his mother's humor. He'd be staying at home until nightfall, eager for another chance to see Wyatt.
Gina was an entertaining and lively woman, ensuring Tory enjoyed his holiday visits. His father, Mr. Parker, wasn't quite as outgoing, but his love for his son was undeniable.
As night fell, Tory found himself back at the club, this time seated in the front row and dressed sharply in red. The dancers made their entrance, but Wyatt was nowhere to be seen. Tory's face fell-he hadn't come for anyone else. Standing up, he scanned the room, his eyes clearly saying, "I'm looking for someone."
Quinn noticed him from across the room. She had encouraged Wyatt to stay home, knowing she wasn't feeling well, and she had hoped tonight would be her chance to charm Tory. But despite her best efforts, he didn't spare her a single glance.
Frustrated, Tory walked out of the club and stood beside his car, muttering, "Damn it." He suddenly sensed someone behind him and turned to see Quinn.
"Long time," Tory said with a faint smile.
"You know me?" Quinn asked, surprised but intrigued.
"No, nothing," he replied, shrugging with a sly grin.
"Where's your friend, Wyatt?" he asked, keeping his tone casual.
Quinn's face fell slightly. "Why? Do you like her?"
Tory's smile faded as he looked at her closely. "Why did you run away from your family, pretending to be kidnapped?" he asked with a sarcastic smile. "They've been looking for you." He added a mocking pout for effect, but Quinn looked at him, visibly confused.
"What are you staring at?" Tory said, his tone shifting to one of disdain. "Aren't you Vivian's only sister?"
Without waiting for an answer, Tory climbed into his car and drove off, leaving Quinn standing alone and bewildered.
