Episode 3: Who's Our Neighbor?

Tory was exhausted. He didn't have the energy-or the urge-to go chasing after a girl he'd only seen once. He tried to convince himself that he was over her.

A week passed without him obsessing over Wyatt, and gradually, he began to forget about her.

"Son?" Gina called from outside the house.

"Yes?" Tory replied, slowly getting up from the couch to meet his mother at the door.

"We have a new neighbor!" Gina said, smiling brightly. Tory just shrugged and headed back inside; that wasn't something that interested him. Gina watched him go, shaking her head with a laugh. "He's so dramatic," she thought to herself.

Gina, however, was thrilled about the new neighbor. She and her husband, Parker, hadn't exactly gotten along with the previous one. That evening, she and Parker decided to pay their new neighbor a visit.

When they returned, Gina looked a bit... off.

"So, how's this new neighbor you were so excited to meet?" Tory asked, noticing her expression.

"She's... sinful," Parker replied, his face dead serious.

"Sinful? What do you mean?" Tory chuckled, already sensing where this was going. He loved his parents, but he knew how quick they were to judge-especially his mother.

"She's a pole dancer. Honestly, our last neighbor was better," Gina said, sighing. Tory could hardly believe it. His parents were always quick to have an opinion about everyone else.

"But I thought you liked her! Let's go offer her some eggs," Tory said, grinning as he teased his mother.

"Get out," Gina replied with a laugh, lightly swatting him away.
