Episode 6: Do You Love Tory?

The fight had left Wyatt battered, with bruises on her face and body. Although the other strippers could have stopped it, jealousy held them back—they let Quinn finish her assault, content to see Wyatt lose.

"Why do you look like that?" Tory asked, rushing over to gently hold her face.

"Quinn fought me," Wyatt muttered, rolling her eyes.

"Can you hear yourself? You let a girl half your height beat you?" Tory said with a smirk, trying to lighten the mood.

Wyatt rolled her eyes again.

"Sorry, you know I was joking," he said, softening his tone. "When we get home, I’ll put something on those bruises."

They reached home, and Tory tried to think of an excuse for why he’d been out for five hours buying medicine. Standing at the doorstep, he called out, "Goodnight, Wyatt!"

"Goodnight, mi amor," Wyatt replied with a wide smile.

Tory went inside, heading first to his mother’s room, then his father’s, but both were empty. Where did they go? he wondered. He checked his phone—no missed calls. His parents never left without letting him know.

Back at Wyatt's, she was sitting on her bed in a nightgown when he walked in, holding his pajamas.

"What are you doing here?" she asked, surprised.

"I can’t find my parents," he said, looking unsettled.

"Go back and wait at the house. They’ll be angry if they don’t see you when they come back," Wyatt said with a concerned look.

"You wouldn’t understand," Tory muttered, frustrated.

"Try me," Wyatt said, giving him a steady gaze.

"I keep hearing noises from the walls and their rooms, but nobody’s there."

Wyatt laughed. "I don’t think you’re okay!"

Two days passed, and still, Tory’s parents hadn’t returned.

"I need to go back," Tory said, looking weary.

"Back to work?" Wyatt asked.

"Yeah. When my parents come, tell them I missed them," he replied, his sadness evident.

"Okay, but…," she hesitated. "My sister invited me to a burial ceremony in a couple of months, and I wanted you to come with me," Wyatt said, giving him a hopeful look.

"When is it?" Tory asked.

"Two months from now," she replied.

"That’s a while away. I think I’ll make it."

Wyatt loved Tory, and there wasn’t a day she didn’t think about him. Every morning and night, she’d call just to hear his voice.

When Tory returned to his city, he resumed work as usual. His parents’ silence weighed on him; no calls, no messages—he was devastated.

Meanwhile, in a different scene, Sarah was sitting close to Tony.

"Why can’t other people see you?" she asked, curiosity in her voice.

"If you know me well, you can see me," Tony replied.

"Then how did I see you the first day without knowing you?" she pressed.

"Because I wanted you to see me," Tony replied, clearly weary of her questions.

"So, are you saying you can make other people see you too, if you want?" Sarah continued.

"Hmm-hmm," Tony replied nonchalantly, dodging further explanation.

"Just tell her everything, so she doesn’t start doubting you," Tyler chimed in from behind, smirking as he watched the couple cuddle. He enjoyed seeing them together.

"Alright, let me explain," Tony said, moving his hands away from Sarah’s waist. "You can’t see me if I don’t want you to, because you didn’t know me in my past life."

Sarah’s eyes widened. "What do you mean, past life?"

Tyler laughed from behind. "You can’t even explain it right?" he teased, sipping from his drink.

With a quick wave of his hand in front of her face, Tony made Sarah forget what she’d been asking. Then he pushed her gently against the sofa, and they continued their game, uninterrupted by questions.
