Chapter 1: Welcome to Hell, GokuThe fight had been intense. Too intense, Goku realized, as he struggled to regain his balance after landing on what felt like solid, scorching rock. He could still hear echoes of that last explosion as he looked around, expecting to see familiar faces. But the landscape was... all wrong.
Goku blinked, taking in the scenery around him. The sky was a murky red, stretched over a bleak cityscape full of towering buildings with pointed roofs, twisted signs, and a strange neon glow that didn't quite reach the shadows below. The air itself had an odd weight to it, and everything was tinged in shades of crimson and black. He rubbed the back of his head, chuckling nervously.
"Uh... Bulma? Is this another one of those teleportation mix-ups?" he called out, half-expecting her voice to crackle over his communicator. But all he heard was eerie silence, punctuated by distant screams and the occasional sinister laughter.
Just as he started to take a step forward, wondering where exactly he'd landed, he heard a light voice from behind.
"Well, well, looks like we've got ourselves a lost soul."
Goku spun around, surprised to find himself facing a girl with pale skin, golden eyes, and a gentle smile that somehow contrasted with the chaos surrounding her. She wore a black-and-white dress, her blond hair cascading over her shoulders. Beside her stood another girl with a wary expression, her white hair and serious gaze fixed on Goku as if sizing him up.
"Hi there! I'm Goku," he greeted, grinning widely. "So... where am I, exactly?"
The blond girl laughed, her eyes lighting up. "You're in Hell, friend. And I'm Charlie. This is Vaggie," she added, gesturing to the white-haired girl beside her, who gave a curt nod.
"Hell?" Goku echoed, scratching his head. "Huh. That's a new one! I've been to other planets, but I don't think I've ever ended up in Hell before!"
Charlie giggled, her laughter oddly cheerful for someone who resided in the underworld. Vaggie, however, narrowed her eyes, crossing her arms. "How exactly does one just 'end up' in Hell?" she questioned, her tone skeptical.
Goku shrugged. "I was in the middle of this fight, and next thing I know—poof! Here I am! Anyway, it's nice to meet you both."
Charlie's eyes sparkled with curiosity. "Well, Goku, you don't exactly look like the typical resident. Not many come down here by accident. But since you're here, maybe you'd like to join us? I actually run a hotel to help people find redemption."
Goku's face lit up at the mention of a hotel. "You help people? That's great! I'd be happy to lend a hand. Maybe I can even help with some of those, uh... residents."
Vaggie looked less than convinced. "Helping? Are you sure this guy can handle the kind of 'guests' we have here?"
Goku grinned, giving them a thumbs-up. "Don't worry! I've fought people way stronger than me before. And besides, everyone deserves a second chance, right?"
The skepticism on Vaggie's face softened slightly, though she didn't look fully convinced. Charlie, on the other hand, seemed thrilled. "Well, then, welcome to the Hazbin Hotel, Goku! Let's get you settled in, and you can meet some of the others."
As they led him toward the hotel, Goku marveled at the bizarre, vibrant underworld around him. From shadowy figures loitering in dark alleys to neon signs advertising strange and ominous services, everything screamed 'Hell'—but not in the way he'd expected.
Before they reached the doors, a figure suddenly blocked their path. A tall man with a dark suit and a disturbingly cheerful grin stepped forward, twirling a microphone in one hand. His red eyes glimmered with an unsettling energy.
"Well, what have we here?" he drawled, his voice smooth and theatrical. "A newcomer! And quite a... lively one, at that."
Charlie cleared her throat. "Alastor, this is Goku. He... um, accidentally arrived here, and he's going to be staying with us at the hotel for now."
Goku held out his hand, his usual warm smile never faltering. "Nice to meet you, Alastor!"
Alastor raised an eyebrow, then chuckled, ignoring the outstretched hand. "Well, well, aren't you a peculiar little thing? I must say, I'm curious to see what brings a living soul—or at least a breathing one—to this delightful place." He glanced at Charlie and Vaggie with a sly grin. "Do you really think he'll last here?"
Goku just laughed. "Oh, don't worry about me! I've been through plenty of tough places. Hell might be different, but I'm up for the challenge."
Alastor smirked. "Then let the fun begin. Welcome to Hell, Saiyan."
As Goku followed Charlie and Vaggie into the Hazbin Hotel, he couldn't help but feel a thrill of excitement. Hell was dark and chaotic, sure, but something told him he was in for an adventure like no other.
And maybe, just maybe, he'd find a few friends here along the way.
