The setting sun cast a warm, golden hue over the city, painting the sky in shades of soft orange and pink as the day slowly ebbed into dusk.

The streets, bustling just a few hours ago, were now calming down, with the noise of daily traffic fading and people gradually dispersing, retreating to their homes.

A few storefronts were starting to close up, their neon signs flickering on to catch the last few evening customers.

You and the girls from Class 1-B strolled down the almost-empty street, the day's events slowly winding down after spending the entire afternoon together.

Tokage munched on the rest of her mochi, humming contentedly. She had a soft grin on her face as she looked between you and the other girls. "It's too bad Shiozaki and Kodai couldn't make it," she said, sighing dramatically before adding with a satisfied grin, "Because this mochi is sooo good." She took another bite, almost as if to prove her point, her eyes closing in exaggerated delight.

Tsunotori and Kendo laughed at Tokage's antics, their faces glowing from the day spent together. The laughter was infectious, and Komori joined in, her soft voice rising above the others. "Yeah, they would've loved this," Tsunotori nodded in agreement.

Suddenly, Tokage's eyes lit up, and she let out an excited, "Oh!" as if she had just remembered something. She turned to face you, her smile widening. "By the way, Akuma-san! You look so cute today outside of the school uniform! I almost didn't recognize you!" Tokage beamed, tilting her head as if studying your outfit again.

"She's right! It's such a nice change." Komori added, her eyes bright with genuine excitement. Tsunotori smiled, adding, "Yeah, you should dress casually more often!"

You could only internally tsk at their comments, thinking of how your mother had bombarded you earlier that morning, eventually overthrowing your original outfit for something she thought 'matched you better.' than the simple shirt and pants you were going to wear.

You were wearing light blue jean shorts with overalls, paired with a soft orange t-shirt. To top it all off, your hair was pulled back into two loose ponytails.

For some reason, you hadn't fought her off too hard about it this time.

Partially, you had grown used to her insistence over time, but honestly, anything was better than that atrocious outfit Ashido had gotten you to wear during the Sports Festival.
