The hotel parking lot was an expanse of eerie stillness, cloaked in the dimming light of early evening. Shadows pooled beneath the sparse lights, casting an almost ghostly glow across the empty rows.

In the back seat of the car, Suga leaned over, a mischievous glint in his eyes as he stretched an arm toward Mingyu, who was slumped against the window, his deep sleep evident in the way his head lolled with each passing second.

With a smirk tugging at his lips, Suga patted Mingyu's shoulder a few times, the amusement evident in his eyes. "Wake up, sleepyhead. We've arrived," he teased, his voice dripping with sarcasm that cut through the quiet.

Mingyu stirred with a groan, his face creasing as he blinked into consciousness, taking in the unfamiliar surroundings with bleary eyes. "Already? It felt like I just closed my eyes..." He reached out for his coffee cup, his fingers fumbling as he took a long sip, hoping the warmth would shake off the remnants of his nap.

Suga chuckled, swinging the car door open with a stretch, his arms reaching skyward as he took a deep breath. He gestured toward the looming hotel building with a flourish, like a showman revealing the next act. "Yup. Time to embrace reality. Welcome to tonight's humble abode."

They strolled into the dimly lit lobby, joining their friends who had already gathered with curious yet cautious expressions.

Taehyung, Jimin, Jungkook, and J-Hope stood in a close-knit circle, their eyes scanning the room's strange, almost gothic charm. The wallpaper, once a rich burgundy, now hung in faded, peeling strips. Portraits of stone-faced individuals adorned the walls, their solemn eyes following every newcomer as though silently judging the living.

"Hyung... this place," Jimin whispered, his voice barely audible as he clutched Jungkook's arm, his fingers tight with a mix of curiosity and unease. His wide eyes darted around, taking in every shadow. "Is it... just me, or is this place a little creepy?"

Jungkook, ever the steady rock, flashed Jimin a reassuring smile and patted his hand in a gentle gesture. "Just a bit old, Jimin-ah. Let's call it... historical."

J-Hope leaned close to Taehyung, his voice a mischievous murmur. "Historical? More like haunted." His gaze landed on an ancient portrait of an elderly woman in Victorian attire, her sharp, unyielding gaze seeming to pierce through the gloom.

Taehyung gave a small shiver, though he quickly shook it off with a grin. "Maybe... but there's a certain charm to it, wouldn't you say?" He glanced back at the portrait, his eyes narrowing. "Even if she does look like she's keeping tabs on us."

Suga clapped his hands together, snapping everyone's attention to him. "Alright, crew. Rooms are sorted-two people to a room. Grab a partner and get settled. We've got an early start, so no late-night ghost hunts, alright?"

The group exchanged furtive glances, the brief silence suddenly sparking a mad scramble.

"Jungkook!" Taehyung exclaimed, stepping forward with a hopeful grin. "Room with me?"

Before Jungkook could respond, Jimin tightened his hold, his eyes narrowing at Taehyung with a flash of possessiveness. "Not a chance, Taehyungie. Jungkook-hyung is with me," he stated with a teasing but unyielding tone, making his claim clear.

Taehyung clutched his chest in an exaggerated gesture of heartbreak. "Yah, Jimin-ah! Can't I borrow him just for one night?"

"Sorry, Taehyung," Jungkook replied, a smirk curling at the corners of his mouth. "It appears I've been claimed."

Jimin beamed in triumph, giving Taehyung a playful nudge, while Taehyung rolled his eyes, scanning the room for a new prospect.

"Alright then, Hobi-how about you and I-" he began, only to be interrupted by Suga, who clamped a hand on J-Hope's shoulder with a grin. "Sorry, Taehyung. J-Hope's already booked-with yours truly." Taehyung, complete the sentence.
