Little Flower

After a month in the hospital, Flower was released under instructions to have a weekly to monthly check-up with a doctor. Flower hasn't talked yet whether it's because of the surroundings or that she is traumatized, but it worried lisa and me. As we got home, Flower walked straight to her room. Lisa was about to follow, but i stopped her. "Let her rest and get used to us again." she nodded, walking to the showers as she was at the hospital for the last few days with flower. Noah hugged me, looking up. "Can i try to talk to her?" I sighed,"Give her a bit of time, maybe later, but let her arrive." I picked him up as he nodded and walked to the kitchen to make dinner.

At dinner did flower pick at her food, not looking up from her plate. "Do you want something else, sweetheart?" Lisa asked softly, Flower just shook her head."Something to drink?" Again, did she shake her head?"Do you want to be small?" I looked at her reaction as she looked scared and didn't answer. I took a deep breath as lucky stood by my legs, putting his head on my lap, i was angry, not at flower, but at what must have happened to her. "Is it okay if I'm little ?" Noah looked at flower as she shrugged. It wouldn't be a bad idea to show her she is safe. Noah looked at both lisa and me as we just nodded. After dinner, i walked with Noah to his nursery and got him changed in a diaper and a onesie carrying on my hip, giving him his dragon, feeling him slowly slip as he sucked on his thumb which i gently replaced with a paci. "Hello baby," i whispered as he hid his facei kissed his head. I love him so much. I slowly walked out of his nursery down to the living room, setting him down on the carpet, letting him crawl to his toy box. After a few minutes, Lisa and Flower came from the kitchen. Lisa smiled, seeing noah play with his toys and his dragon stuffy sitting down beside me. As i looked at Flower , she stood still in the doorframe, unsure. "Come sit down." i patted the seat beside me as she slowly walked over, sitting down stiff and uncomfortable. i nudged Lisa so we could switch as Flower is closer to her, and we did, Flower seemed to relax just a bit, which was good. "Daddy, bunny." Noah came crawling, handing me a bunny stuffy, i took it."That's a cute bunny, baby," i told him as he nodded. "Fower bunny", "should i give it to flower?" Noah nodded, excited as i gave the bunny to flower who just looked at it before taking it, putting it on her lap. I smiled softly at least something.
