Damian revved the engine of his motorbike, adrenaline surging through him. The news of Raven's abduction had hit him hard, a knot of dread tightening in his chest. He navigated the winding roads to the hidden monastery with a singular focus: he had to find her before it was too late. Every second felt like an eternity, and he could not let her slip away into darkness.

As he approached the monastery, its ancient stone walls loomed ominously in the moonlight. He parked the bike and stepped inside, the air immediately thick with a heavy, unsettling energy. Dark magic seeped from the very stones, wrapping around him like a suffocating shroud. He felt a chill run down his spine but pushed it aside. He had to find Raven.

"Raven!" he called out, his voice echoing through the empty halls. Silence answered him, amplifying his growing anxiety. "Raven! Where are you?"

He hurried deeper into the darkened corridors, his heart racing with each step. Shadows danced on the walls, and every creak of the floor sent a wave of unease through him. He couldn't let fear consume him; Raven was counting on him.

A faint sound broke the silence-a soft, pained groan that echoed from one of the chambers. Hope ignited within him as he followed the sound, desperation propelling him forward. "Raven!" he shouted again, urgency lacing his tone.

When he burst into the chamber, the sight before him stole his breath. There she lay on the cold stone floor, motionless, a trickle of blood seeping from a wound on her arm. A surge of panic gripped him as he rushed to her side. "Raven!"

He knelt beside her, his heart pounding as he cradled her head in his hands. Her face was pale, and her breathing was shallow. "No, no, no," he muttered, feeling for her pulse. It was faint but still there-a fragile thread of life he was determined to hold onto.

His eyes darted around the room, taking in the heavy chains that bound her to the ground. Rage boiled inside him as he saw the cuts and bruises marking her skin, evidence of the torment she had endured. "What did they do to you?" he whispered, desperation clawing at his throat.

"I tried to fight..." she murmured, her eyes fluttering open briefly before closing again. "Damian... I'm so tired..."

"No! You can't give up," he urged, brushing a hand against her hair. "Just hold on for me. I'll get you out of here." He examined the chains, frustration building as he searched for a way to free her.

With a fierce determination, he gripped one of the chains and pulled with all his might. It wouldn't budge. "Damn it," he hissed, gritting his teeth. He couldn't let her slip away.

"Stay with me, Raven," he pleaded, feeling the weight of her body against him. He could see the fear in her eyes, the way she struggled to stay conscious. "Just a little longer."

He yanked at the first chain again, straining with all his strength. With a loud clang, it finally snapped free. "Got it!" he exclaimed, adrenaline surging through him. He quickly moved to the second chain, pulling with every ounce of energy he had left.

As the second chain broke away, he lifted her into his arms, cradling her against his chest. She felt so fragile, her body limp and unresponsive. "Raven, wake up," he urged, panic rising in his voice.

But her eyes remained closed, and he could see the pain etched on her face. "I won't let anything happen to you," he vowed, determination solidifying within him. He had to get her out of here.

He carried her through the dark chamber, the shadows closing in around him. With each step, his heart pounded louder, fueled by the urgency to escape. He could hear distant murmurs echoing through the halls, the threat of more enemies lurking just out of sight.

As he reached the exit, the cool night air hit him like a wave of relief. He stepped outside, cradling Raven's body against him as he took a moment to gather himself. He placed her gently on the seat of his bike, the moonlight illuminating her pale features.

"Stay with me, Raven," he whispered, running a hand through her hair. He climbed on, wrapping his arms around her protectively as he started the engine.

"I'll get you home," he promised, determination flaring within him. He sped off into the night, leaving the shadows of the monastery behind. Every mile he covered felt like a step closer to safety, and he couldn't shake the fear that gnawed at him.

With Raven in his arms, he would fight whatever darkness awaited them. He wouldn't let her slip away, not now, not ever.

I hope you like it took a long time to get done 👍🏽 ✅
