My life almost felt like a mundane cycle of eating and sleeping, not being able to go out and having to stay in such a tiny space most of the time for months slowly driving me insane. Not even a little time to go outside?

Brett's and occasionally Eddy's visit to this wooden prison would bring some color into my dull life. Sometimes he would come along and serenade me with some violin playing, along with Brett, just to get a reaction out of me.

Of course, I would enjoy it the most whenever they play their respective concertos, Brett's Tchaikovsky and Eddy's Sibelius. I would close my eyes, immersing myself in the beautiful music that the composers so geniusly wrote. It seems that they have improved over the years, with their diligent practice. I would never get tired hearing them actually play seriously.

"Wow, Estelle has such a great taste in music! She's enjoying the concertos!" Eddy remarked.

"Even a baby can appreciate the beauty of these concertos, especially our first ever concertos we performed for our channels!" Brett said with his mouth agape.

"She sure knows what's good music, lemme try playing some pop songs," Eddy then played some Micheal Jackson, which he all got was a deadpan face. Did I inherit it from my father? Maybe. I've never really enjoyed pop songs, and watching lots of Twoset did not help much with the enjoyment.

"I bet she'll grow up to be a wonderful musician," Brett replied.

"I'm sure she will, with her father being such a great violinist," Ayla praised genuinely.

"Aww, really..." Brett couldn't help but grin. As much as I enjoy watching their friendly interactions, I couldn't stop thinking about when I can get out of these bars...

It took quite a while before my parents would finally let me out of the crib more often. When they lifted me onto the floor, my body felt like an entirely different entity from me, with my legs not trained to support the weight of my body. It was as if I'd forgotten how to walk after many hours on the soft cushion in the crib. I struggled to get on my underdeveloped feet, but eventually I managed to after a few tries.

"Oh my gosh! Estelle can already stand! And she's walking?" The usually shy Ayla exclaimed in the loudest voice I've ever heard from her. But I don't blame her though. A baby shouldn't be on their feet for their first few minutes on the floor.

Sheet...did I alarm them? After all, I'm just a baby that's less than a year old, and I had to play the part or I'll just cause unnecessary trouble. I pretended to lose balance and fall on my butt, which seemed to elicit a small laugh from them.

"Aww, I suppose she still needs some help," Brett knelt down behind me and lifted me up on my feet with his huge hands around my little waist. He has carried me before for a little while, but not like this. His fingers wrapped awkwardly around my body, as I pretended to struggle planting the sole of my foot on the ground.

"One step at a time," he said in the most soft, delicate voice, looking down at me with the most radiant smile and hopeful eyes, as if cheering me on. With that face, it almost seemed like we have switched roles as adult and baby. I pretended to struggle just to make it seem more believable that I was just an ordinary kid.

"Come on, you can do it!" I could feel his excitement under his soft voice.

"Honey, don't rush her. Babies usually take quite a few months in order to walk," my mom tried to calm him down.

"Come on, she just needs a little help, and she will be able to walk in no time!" He said as he guided me along.

Moments like these are what proves the reality that we are growing up as a family. Though it's hard to believe, he's my father, and I'm his daughter.

But one thing I'm certain, is when my heart fluttered with joy seeing one that I've admired smile with every step I take, enjoying his life outside of videos and practicing These little moments filled my life with bright, radiant colours, filling the plain, dull canvas with splashes of warm hues and shades.
