When we got to the mess hall, I realized that all the chairs were arranged in a circle. We all sat down and mom starting talking
"Why do you guys think you're here?"
"You told us to" I responded sarcastically
"I mean why are you at camp?"
"Mom, you have our files, you basically know everything about everyone" Squid responded.
"So how can we make ourselves better people?" Mom asked "what do you like to do Jose?"
"I like animals" he responded
"What got him into camp in the first place" X-ray said
"Yeah you tell em magnet" Squid responded "they wanted a puppy for a thousand bucks"
'That's insane" i said
"Right?!"
"You boys-" I coughed loudly "and girls, have one life, and so far, you've done a pretty good job and screwing it up, even Zero here isn't completely worthless-"
"Mom leave him alone!" I Interrupted
"What was that?"
"She said to leave zero alone" Zigzag jumped in
"Since you like to share , why don't we tall about you?"
"I don't want to talk about me! All I did was ask you to leave zero alone! God, is that THAT hard?!"
Mom ignored my comment "What do you like to do, Zero?"
For a moment, he didn't respond
"Just won't talk with me, will you?"
He then responded
"I like digging holes" he said
"Then your in the right place for it, buddy boy"
Authors note- I'm sorry if this seems like a wack job😭😭 it's 7:30 on a Monday and just whipped something together for chapter 6. But anyway, I'll start thinking for chapter 7!:)
