Chapter 13: The date

I woke up, and put on a red tank top and put on my jumpsuit and tied the arms of it

I smiled, red was totally my color

After all the guys woke up, we headed to grab our shovels.

I was so bored, so I tried making talk with x-ray , but of course, he didn't wanna talk. But at least zigzag did

"So, what do you like to do?" He asked

"I like performing and singing"

"I bet you have an amazing voice"

I smiled

"Anyway, do you play any instruments?"

"Yeah"

"Which one or ones?"

"I play acoustic guitar and trumpet"

Now that I thought of it, I should've asked my mom to send my guitar

"That's impressive!"

"Thank you" I said, bowing sarcastically

He laughed

"Do you play any sports?"

"Yeah, I played soccer and softball"

"Hey, maybe when our sentences are up, I can come to your games and tournaments"

I smiled

"Who's your favorite artist?"

"I like Olivia rodrigo, Taylor swift, and Noah Kahan"

"Those are some pretty good artists"

"Yeah" I said, pouring some water on the dirt in the middle of my hole so it'd be easier to pick up

"Anyway, do you wanna go out tonight?"

I was surprised, what do you even do on a date in the middle of the desert?

"Sure!"

"Okay, meet me tonight at 7 right there"
He said

"Okay!"

"Will you two stop?" A voice above me asked

Turns out it was X-Ray, and Mr. Sir had come around with the water truck but we were to busy talking to notice.

"Aw, is someone third wheeling?" I said, hopping up from my hole

"No!"

"Whatever"

It was about 6:30, I put on a cream colored tank top with some jeans and put on silver earrings and I found some black heels.

I met zigzag at the spot, the sunset was beautiful so we watched the sun set. It was so worth it

I was falling asleep until I heard the warden saying

"I could press charges right now but that's not we're focusing on."

"Hey, zig?"

"Yeah"

"I'm gonna go check something out"

"Okay, I'll come with you"

We made our way to were I found the warden, caveman, zero, Mr.sir, and Mom. Caveman was holding a treasure chest

"Oh my God, you guys are alive!"

AUTHOR'S NOTE- This may be the last chapter for a while, as I'm busy with school and have a 1 day softball camp this Sunday which is suppose to last until 12pm, so kinda half the day. But I will try to update this wattpad as often as I can. Hope you guys are enjoying it so far! :)
