2. Gyuvin and Sam

The next day Ricky decided to go for a walk through his old hometown. He visits a lot of places he went to all the time with his friends or alone or with Gyuvin... Whenever Ricky starts thinking of Gyuvin again he shakes his head as if he's throwing him out of his mind. I wanna see him so bad right now..

After eating some breakfast Ricky asks his friends Hao and Hanbin to meet up. The three of them meet in the Café Kim & Kim again. „Hey Ricky! How did you sleep? Was your first night back in Korea good?" Hanbin asks friendly, as he is. „Well I was pretty much exhausted yesterday so I slept well, yes. Thank you, Hyung." Hearing this satisfies Hanbin and Zhanghao. They must've been worried about Ricky after they told him about Gyuvin and Sam.

„So, any plans for today?" Hanbin asks. „Okay guys. Don't judge and listen to me first." Zhanghao raises an eyebrow, already making him look like he's judging. „I am thinking of contacting Gyuvin." Both Hanbin's and Zhanghao's mouth fall to the ground. „I mean at some point we knew this would happen but so soon?" Zhanghao replies. „I know.. But I just wanna see him, you know? I mean I missed him too. And him not being with all of us yesterday felt so strange.." Hanbin nods understanding. „So after saying 'something' was missing when you were in the US you actually meant Gyuvin, huh?" Ricky shyly scratches his neck. „Yeah, I guess so.. It's been two years but I just couldn't forget him. No matter how hard I tried.. I wish I could turn back in time, honestly." This time Zhanghao gives Ricky a side hug. „Don't worry Ricky~ We will help you! After all the things you both went through you should definitely try talking things out. But don't expect him to jump around your neck. He'll probably need some time to process the fact that you're back. You know he had a bad time too, when you left." Ricky nods looking a bit frustrated to the ground. He knew what he did hurt Gyuvin but at this time he had no clue how bad it actually was.

Hanbin invites Gyuvin over to drink some coffee with him and Zhanghao. „Oh he answered! He's in the near right now so he'll come over!" Ricky starts getting nervous. „I think I need some fresh air." Hao holds Ricky back. „You can't leave now! You were the one who had this idea. So you stay." Ricky sits back down next to Hao on his chair. „But what if he doesn't want to see me?" Ricky sighs. „What if he's mad at you guys, because you didn't tell him that I am here too?" Hanbin shrugs his shoulders. „We'll be fine. Don't worry Ricky. Just try talking to him and if he needs time, give him that." Ricky nods.

After a few minutes the door bell rings which means someone entered the Café. Ricky's heart immediately starts beating faster as soon as he sees who it is. Gyuvin. But... he's not alone. He's holding hands with some other guy who must be Sam.

At first Gyuvin doesn't notice Ricky and waves to his friends Hanbin and Hao. But then he sees their lowkey 'sorry-saying' faces and looks beside them. Ricky. Gyuvin holds his breath for a second and just stares. „Is everything okay, Babe?" The guy next to him who's definitely Sam now, asks. „Uh y-yeah I mean no I- what is going on here?" He looks at Hanbin and Hao trying to ignore Ricky. „Hey" Ricky mumbles. But Gyuvin doesn't react at all. „Okay listen. We knew you probably would've said no if we told you that Ricky is here too. So we lied. Sorry! But Ricky wanted to talk to you and we're good friends so we helped." Zhanghao says half confidently. „Well yeah you are absolutely right. If you excuse us now. We will leave." Gyuvin turns around, looks at Sam letting him know that they're leaving and walks towards the door. „Gyuvin, wait!" Ricky suddenly shouts making everyone in the Café look at him. „Can we please talk?" Gyuvin turns around just to look disappointed at Ricky and then leaves the Café. „I'm sorry that this didn't go as you wanted it to be, Ricky. But i'm sure you'll get your chance. He just needs time." Ricky feels his heart aching. He stands up from his chair and slowly walks towards the door. „I am leaving too guys. Sorry for wasting your time. I think I wanna be alone now. See you around, Guys. Thank you for trying to help me." Zhanghao wants to hold Ricky back but Hanbin tells him not to. „Alright Ricky! Call us if you need something!" Ricky only waves back without turning around and leaves.

At Gyuvin's apartment him and Sam go inside without any of them saying a word. „So, are we just ignoring what just happened or will you tell me what the hell is going on?" Gyuvin shrugs his shoulders. „It's nothing. Let's not talk about it." Sam rolls his eyes. „It didn't seem like NOTHING to me. Who was this guy and why did you react the way you did?" Gyuvin sits down on his couch waiting for Sam to sit beside him. „I know you're confused but I really don't wanna talk about this now. Let's just watch some TV, okay?" Sam sits down beside his boyfriend. „Okay... whatever you want." Gyuvin starts playing a movie but doesn't watch it all. His mind was filled with questions. Why is he here? Is he back? Will he stay in South Korea now? Is he just visiting? Why did he want to talk to me? I hate him!!! His thoughts stopped with a head falling on his shoulder. Sam fell asleep. Seems like you didn't like that movie.. Do we even have one single thing in common?
