It's been two months since Ricky came back to South Korea. Him and Gyuvin still haven't talked to each other. They also tried to avoid each other as much as possible since their friendgroup is the same. It all worked pretty well. But it still hurt both of them. Their friends still hope that they'll make up one day, maybe they just need more time.
Ricky got a job as barista and waitress in the Kim & Kim Café.
„I'm heading to work now." Ricky says. „Much fun, my son! Take care of yourself." Comes from his mom out of the phone. „I love you mom. I'll come visit you soon!"
Once Ricky arrives at work he already had so many customers. „Why are so many people here today?" He asked his co-worker Taesan. „They're celebrating some kind of anniversary for their company today." Ricky had to serve a lot of people today but that's okay. He got a lot of tips. „You are pretty busy today, huh?" „Hanbin Hyung!" Hanbin and Zhanghao stand infront of Ricky who's currently standing behind the counter. „What are you doing here?" Ricky asks, happy to see his two friends. „We're in a Café. We want some coffee Ricky." Zhanghao laughs lightly. „Oh and I thought you would come here to visit your amazing and wonderful friend Ricky." He said ironically. „Of course Ricky~ We're here for you too!" Hanbin says.
After chatting for a bit Ricky suddenly notices a similar face between their customers. „Hey guys, isn't that Sam?" He whispers looking to the people who celebrate their company anniversary. „Oh you're right! That's him!" Comes from Zhanghao. „Luckily that's not my table but Taesan's. I don't wanna talk to this guy." Ricky says annoyed. „You make it pretty obvious that you don't like him." Zhanghao laughs. „I just wonder what Gyuvin sees in him.. He seems to be the complete opposite of me." Hanbin looks at Ricky as if he could read his mind. „Ricky you're so mischievous. Don't even think of spilling tea on him!" Ricky opens his eyes widely. „What!? That was not what I was thinking!... Not exactly..." Zhanghao laughs at him. „Ya- You're so evil."
Zhanghao and Hanbin left after a while. Hanbin told Ricky to not risk his job because of Sam.
„I am leaving early today, Ricky. I have some plans today." Taesan says and leaves. Ricky says goodbye to him.
Since the Café has a bar too those people of that company are still there. Means Sam is also still there. And now that Taesan left, the table is now for Ricky. And once he realized that, one of them raises their hand and calls Ricky over. „Yes? What can I do for you? Is everything alright?" The people on this table are all men. They look like they all care only about money. They act like they're better than anyone but Ricky has to stay nice. What does Gyuvin see in him..? „Yeah. Everything's alright. But my friend here told me that he knows you." He pointed directly at Sam who's laughing. „Uhm.. yeah kinda.." Ricky answered confused. „Do we get a friends discount then? See we're having an anniversary party here. And we definitely had not enough to drink yet but drinking is expensive you understand?" Ricky tries to stay calm. Who do they think they are? „Sorry we don't do something like 'friends discount' here and besides that we aren't even friends.. so.. do you want to place an order or can I leave?" Ricky says holding his notepad and pen in his hand. „What a boring Café.. Yeah we would like to get another Champagne. Thanks." Ricky nods friendly and leaves. Oh my god what an asshole!?
Almost at the end of his shift he sees those men leaving as well. They stand outside to smoke. Ricky takes his jacket and goes outside. He walked past those guys and accidentally overheard something they were talking about. Ricky walks slower to hear what they say. „Yeah he's so weird sometimes. In bed he is good but once he puts his clothes back on I can't stand him. And his friends? They're all behaving like kids." It was Sam who's talking and laughing about his own words. „What was his name again? Gubin?" One of Sam's coworkers says, also while laughing. They were all laughing. „Gyuvin." Corrected Sam but not in a defensive way. He was laughing with them about his boyfriend and even told them private stuff about Gyuvin. Ricky was about to explode. What the fuck was wrong with this man? Should he tell Gyuvin? Ricky decides to go home first. Once arriving he asks his friend Zhanghao to come over.
Ricky
„Zhanghao Hyung? I know it's kinda late now but do you perhabs have time to come over now? It's actually very important and I don't want to talk about this on the phone..."

„Yah~ Ricky, do you know that I have a life too? I'm still with Hanbin right now. Is it really that important?"
Ricky
„It's about Gyuvin.. You remember how we saw Sam today? I overheard him talking about Gyuvin in a bad way... I don't know what to do."
Hao Hyung🐼
„Okay okay.. I am coming.. But I'll bring Hanbinnie with me!"
Ricky
„Thank you, Hyung~!"
It didn't take Hao and Hanbin long to arrive since they were at Hao's place and he doesn't live that far away from Ricky. They ring his bell and it didn't even take Ricky 5 seconds to open the door since he impatiently waited for his Hyungs. „Thanks for coming over! I need your help." Haobin walks in and sits down on Ricky's couch. „So what exactly happened with Sam and what does that have to do with us?" Zhanghao asks. Ricky told them what he heard Sam talking about. „He said what???" Hanbin sounds angry. „I knew he is weird but who talks like this about their partner?" „See. Now you know what's my problem. Do I go and tell Gyuvin now? Shouldn't he know what kind of person he's dating?" Hanbin and Zhanghao are both not sure either. „I understand that you wanna go and tell him. But you must be to 100% sure that you don't do this for yourself because you dislike Sam but to do this for Gyuvin. And you should have in mind that this will break his heart again. You know how sensitive Gyubin is. Please think this through Ricky." Hanbin always has the right words. „Yeah you're right, Hyung.. I will not do anything now. But if I hear that dude talk bad about Gyuvin again i'm gonna beat his ass."
After talking for a bit Haobin leave Ricky's apartment again. „Thanks for coming over again. You both always help me out." Hanbin and Hao hug Ricky and then leave.
