TIME SKIP: 4 MONTHS
Four months had passed since Min-Soo's debut, and five months since Jungkook signed the contract with Taehyung. The landscape had shifted dramatically.
Jungkook's fans and Min-Soo's fans were at odds, constantly belittling each other's artist. Jungkook bore the brunt of the hate, with many citing Min-Soo's youth (just 17) as a reason to spare him criticism.
"Kookie's being targeted again," Jimin said, scrolling through social media.
Jungkook sighed. "I'm used to it, Jimin."
But Taehyung's reassurance was always a balm. "Kook, focus on your music. Ignore the noise."
Their relationship had blossomed, a perfect blend of love, trust, and understanding.
"You're my rock, hyung," Jungkook whispered during a late-night call.
Taehyung's deep voice soothed him. "You're mine too, Kook. We'll weather this together."
Jungkook settled into his couch, launching Instagram Live to connect with his fans. Thousands tuned in, flooding the comments section.
"Kookie, how are you?"
"What's new with you?"
"Love you, JK!"
But amidst the positivity, hate comments emerged:
"Die already"
"Leave the industry"
"Min-Soo deserves better"
Jungkook's smile faltered for a moment, his eyes clouding. He took a deep breath and refocused on the loving messages.
"Thank you, guys," he said, his voice steady. "Your love keeps me going."
A fan asked, "Kookie, how do you handle hate?"
Jungkook's expression turned introspective. "I remind myself why I started music – for the love of it. And I focus on the people who truly care."
His fans rallied around him, drowning out the negativity.
"We love you, JK!"
"Stay strong, Kookie!"
" Ignore the haters"
Jimin, sitting beside Jungkook, offered reassurance. "You're doing great, hyung."
Jungkook's heart swelled with gratitude. "Thanks, hyung."
At YPS Entertainment, CEO smirked in the conference room, surrounded by board members. "I told you, Jungkook's career will soon be finished. People are already enamored with Min-Soo. Soon, they'll forget Jeon Jungkook even exists."
The board members nodded in agreement, their faces reflecting their satisfaction.
Unbeknownst to them, Min-Soo struggled with his conscience. For four months, he'd been living a lie. He'd wanted fame, but not at Jungkook's expense.
In his room, Min-Soo locked out his manager and launched Instagram Live. Thousands joined, curious about his sudden broadcast.
"Guys, I need to confess something," Min-Soo said, his voice trembling. "Please forgive me in advance."
Fans flooded the comments: "What's wrong, Min-Soo?" "Everything okay?" "We love you!"
Min-Soo took a deep breath. "I didn't want to debut like this... at someone else's expense. I admired Jungkook, wanted to be like him. But my management... they pushed me to replace him."
The live stream erupted in shock and confusion.
"Min-Soo, what are you talking about?"
"Is this true?"
"We still love you!"
Min-Soo's eyes welled up with tears. "I'm sorry, Jungkook-nim. I'm sorry for everything."
Here's the revised version:
Min-Soo's voice cracked as he continued, tears streaming down his face. "My company wanted me to replace Jungkook-nim. I was blinded by greed, craving fame and popularity without considering Jungkook-nim's struggles. He fought to reach where he is today, while I sought overnight success."
Sobs racked his body. "I'm ashamed. I'll leave this industry. I cannot continue like this."
With those words, Min-Soo ended his live stream.
Clips of his emotional confession spread like wildfire across social media.
In the YPS Entertainment conference room, PR Head Shin burst in, panic etched on his face.
Beom-seok glared. "What is the meaning of this interruption?"
Shin placed an iPad on the table before Beom-seok. "Sir, look at this."
Beom-seok's expression darkened as he watched Min-Soo's live. Fury blazed in his eyes.
"What has he done?" Beom-seok thundered. "We gave him everything, and this is how he repays us?"
Turning to Jung, he barked orders. "Handle this. Prepare for a press conference immediately."
Jung nodded hastily and exited.
Beom-seok's face twisted in rage. "Min-Soo will regret betraying us."
