After reaching home, Taehyung messaged Jungkook: "My offer still stands, Mr. Jeon. I'd love it if your answer is yes this time, but if it's still no, I'll stop bothering you." He then drifted off to sleep.

Meanwhile, Jungkook and Jimin returned home, exhausted, and fell asleep instantly.

Next morning, Jungkook woke up early, feeling refreshed. He cooked porridge and made banana milkshake for himself and lemon water for Jimin.

As Jimin descended the stairs, freshly showered, Jungkook invited him to eat together.

"About yesterday, you and Mr. Kim seemed really close," Jimin remarked, eyeing Jungkook curiously.

Jungkook's spoon halted mid-air. "Not really, Jieun noona just wants us to be friends. That's all," he replied, attempting nonchalance.

Jimin hummed skeptically and continued eating.

"Let me wash the dishes; you pick a movie to watch," Jimin suggested, gathering the dirty plates.

Jungkook settled onto the couch and unlocked his phone. Taehyung's message caught his eye, and memories of their intimate encounter flooded back. His cheeks flushed.

Torn, Jungkook hesitated. Part of him yearned to decline again, but another part craved reliving last night's experience.

He typed: "I'll think about it, Mr. Kim."

Taehyung, in his office, checked his phone after hearing the notification. Shocked by Jungkook's response, he simply replied: "Ok."

Taehyung refrained from pressing further, allowing Jungkook space.

Lost in thought, Jungkook struggled with conflicting feelings. As an idol, he had never experienced a romantic relationship, and his innocence remained intact. Yet, Taehyung's proposition intrigued him.

Jimin emerged from the kitchen, noticing Jungkook's distant gaze. "Hey, you didn't pick a movie, and you seem lost. What's on your mind?" he asked, sitting beside Jungkook.

Jungkook startled, masking his true thoughts. "Uh, I was thinking about my song, hyung. Let's watch your favorite movie."

Jimin's bright smile lit up. "Really? Thanks, Kook!" He quickly selected his favorite film, and they settled in.

As they watched, Jungkook's mind wandered back to Taehyung. He couldn't shake the feeling that he wanted to explore this new side of himself.

Jimin nudged Jungkook playfully. "Focus, Kook! You're missing the best part."

Jungkook chuckled, attempting to brush off his distraction.

The next day passed uneventfully for both Taehyung and Jungkook. Taehyung remained busy in the office, choosing to give Jungkook space. Meanwhile, Jungkook grappled with conflicting emotions, distracted by his song's recent release and promotional commitments.

Days turned into a week, with neither making contact. Taehyung's patience wore thin, craving an answer. Jungkook, still torn, decided to confront Taehyung, messaging him that he'd arrive within the hour.

Taehyung replied with a simple "Ok."

Upon arriving at the company, Jungkook, dressed casually to maintain anonymity, was recognized by the bodyguards. The receptionist, informed by Taehyung, expected his arrival.

Jungkook stood nervously outside Taehyung's office, knocking before entering.

Taehyung, frustrated from a botched presentation and Jungkook's radio silence, rose from his seat, his gaze piercing. "Don't you think I deserve an answer, Mr. Jeon?"

Jungkook stuttered, avoiding eye contact, "I'm sorry, Mr. Kim. I was conflicted."

Taehyung's voice took on a sharp edge. "Look at me while speaking, Mr. Jeon. Are you uninterested? If so, leave. I won't force you."

Jungkook's expression turned pleading. "I need time, Mr. Kim. This isn't a business deal; it's my life."

Taehyung's gaze softened slightly, intrigued by Jungkook's vulnerability.

Taehyung sighed, his frustration dissipating. "Fine, let's settle this tonight. You can still decline if you want."

Jungkook's eyes met Taehyung's, relief washing over his face. "That's okay with me, Mr. Kim."

Taehyung hummed, reclining in his chair. "If your answer is yes, come to my mansion tomorrow at 6 pm, alone. Take this contract." He handed Jungkook a folder.

"If you agree, sign and return it tomorrow. If not, burn it. Rest assured, I won't make you uncomfortable."

Jungkook accepted the documents, his hands trembling slightly. "I will, Mr. Kim."

Taehyung's gaze lingered on Jungkook. "Remember, this is your decision."

Jungkook nodded and bid Taehyung farewell, departing with mixed emotions.
