Next day, At the Seoul Police Station, an officer briefed Namjoon on the lead they had obtained. International pressure mounted as Jungkook's fans demanded justice. The Kim Corporation also weighed in, intensifying the urgency.

Just as the officer shared details of the CCTV footage, Kim Seokjin arrived, interrupting their conversation. Though taken aback by Namjoon's presence, Seokjin's expression remained stoic.

Namjoon's eyes narrowed. "What brings you here, Mr. Kim?"

Seokjin's response dripped with irritation. "This case concerns my brother, Mr. Kim Namjoon. I should be the one questioning your presence."

Namjoon's gaze turned skeptical. "Your behavior at the hospital suggested otherwise—that you didn't care about Jungkook."

Seokjin's eyes flashed annoyance. "Shut up! I'm here for my brother."

Namjoon fell silent.

The officer continued, "We've obtained CCTV footage showing the shooter fired from the building opposite the stadium. The culprit's face is visible, and an arrest warrant has been issued. We'll apprehend them soon."

Namjoon and Seokjin nodded in unison.

Seokjin instructed the officer, "Keep me updated."

As they stepped outside, Namjoon cautioned, "Seokjin-shi, if you're planning to harm Jungkook, reconsider."

Seokjin's fists clenched. "Mind your own business and Stay away from me."

With that, Seokjin stormed off.

At the hospital, Jungkook had awakened, surrounded by Jimin and Taehyung. Jimin shared his fears and concerns with Jungkook, updating him on the events that had transpired.

"I was so scared, Kook," Jimin confessed. "Your father and brother came to visit yesterday."

Jungkook's expression changed upon hearing his brother's name.

"Was he angry?" Jungkook asked nervously.

Jimin sighed and nodded.

Meanwhile, Taehyung stepped outside to take a call from Namjoon, who briefed him on the developments from the police station.

"Seokjin showed up at the station," Namjoon reported. "He seemed genuinely concerned about Jungkook, but I sense underlying motives."

Taehyung's grip on his phone tightened.

"Keep me updated," Taehyung instructed.

As Taehyung returned to the room, Jungkook's anxious eyes met his.

"Hyung, what's wrong?" Jungkook asked.

Taehyung forced a reassuring smile.

"Nothing, Kook. Just hospital business."

Jimin intervened and whispered

"Kook, don't worry about Seokjin. You focus on recovery."

Jungkook nodded, though his unease lingered.

After stepping out of the room, Jimin approached Taehyung, who was still on the phone. "Mr. Kim, I think you should head home and freshen up," Jimin suggested. "I'll take care of Jungkook." Taehyung sighed, "Fine, but keep me updated if anything happens." Jimin nodded reassuringly.

Soon, Jungkook's father arrived with Seokjin. Jimin informed them, "He's awake; you can see him now." Jungkook's father entered the room, his eyes filled with concern. "Jungkookie, how are you, my son?" he asked, caressing Jungkook's face.

Seokjin lingered at the door, his expression unreadable. Jungkook assured his father, "I'm fine, Dad." Then, he turned to Seokjin. "Hyung, won't you talk to me? Are you still upset?" Seokjin's response was laced with fury and anger.

"I don't care if you live or die," Seokjin spat, each word devoid of emotion. "You left us, abandoned us for that friend of yours, despite my pleas to stay. I warned you: if you stepped outside our home, our relationship would end." Jungkook's eyes widened, hurt by Seokjin's harsh words. Saying this seokjin left from there.

Jungkook's father sighed, gazing at his son, who was visibly hurt by Jin's words. "Kookie, your brother is just angry with you," he explained. "Your mother abandoned you both in childhood, and then you left as well. That's why he's upset. He will come around, you know how much he loves you."

Jungkook nodded, trying to process his emotions. After a while, his father departed, leaving Jungkook to his thoughts.

On the other hand, Taehyung was en route when Namjoon called, informing him that the police had apprehended Jungkook's shooter. "The police are investigating," Namjoon added. Taehyung ended the call and headed to the police station.

Upon arrival, Taehyung spotted Namjoon waiting in the lobby, and together they approached the police officer.

"We've caught the suspect, and our officers are investigating," the officer confirmed.

Just then, Seokjin arrived, having been notified by the police. He glanced at Taehyung and Namjoon but ignored them, his anger directed elsewhere.

"Where's the killer who tried to kill my brother?" Seokjin demanded, his voice laced with venom.

The officer replied calmly, "We're investigating, Mr. Kim. We'll know more soon."

Seokjin's eyes narrowed, impatience evident.
