Inside the sleek conference room at YPS Entertainment, CEO Park Beom-Seok slammed his fist on the table, frustration etched on his face. "He refused again," he growled, his voice laced with disappointment. The board members exchanged uneasy glances. "We've tried countless times to sign him to our label, but he continues to reject us," Beom-Seok continued, his anger palpable.
With a deep breath, he composed himself and pressed a button on the intercom. "Secretary Kim, please come in."
The door swung open, and Secretary Kim entered, bowing slightly. "Yes, sir?"
"It's time for our new talent's debut," Beom-Seok declared, his eyes gleaming with determination. "Is everything prepared?"
Secretary Kim nodded briskly. "Yes, sir. All arrangements are in place."
The board members' confusion was evident. One of them, Director Lee, spoke up, "CEO Beom-Seok, what's going on? Who are you referring to?"
Beom-Seok's smile was calculating. "If Jeon Jungkook refuses our offers again, we'll launch another artist under our label – one who's eerily similar to him. They share many qualities, and let's face it, Jungkook is already 26. His career will be over soon in 3 or 4 years, and the public will crave fresh faces. We've groomed our new talent to be his mirror image."
The room fell silent, then erupted into murmurs of excitement.
Director Lee's eyes widened. "That's brilliant, CEO! Who is this talented individual?"
Beom-Seok's smirk grew wider. "All will be revealed soon. Trust me, this will shake the industry."
The board members exchanged enthusiastic glances, their faces reflecting their eagerness to capitalize on the new talent.
Secretary Kim nodded, his expression neutral. "Shall I proceed with the debut plans, sir?"
Beom-Seok's gaze never wavered. "Make it happen. The world needs a new sensation, and we'll provide it."
As the meeting adjourned, the air was electric with anticipation, fueled by Beom-Seok's cunning plan.
Meanwhile, in a secluded training facility, a young man named Min-Soo practiced his dance moves in front of a mirror. His features eerily resembled Jungkook's – the same sharp jawline, piercing eyes, and captivating smile.
"Min-Soo, you're progressing well," his trainer, Choi Jin-Hyun, said, observing his pupil's movements. "But remember, it's not just about mimicking Jungkook's style. You need to own it, make it yours."
Min-Soo nodded intently, his determination palpable. "I won't disappoint, sir."
With CEO Beom-Seok's nod of approval, Secretary Kim made the announcement to the media: "YPS Entertainment proudly introduces our newest talent, 17-year-old Jung Min-Soo!"
The room buzzed as reporters scribbled furious notes. Simultaneously, YPS's social media accounts erupted with dance videos showcasing Min-Soo's mesmerizing skills.
CEO Beom-Seok turned to his PR Head, Shin Hye-Ji. "Make sure this news dominates the headlines for the next week. I want the nation talking about Jung Min-Soo."
Hye-Ji nodded, her eyes sparkling with determination. "Consider it done, sir."
As the news spread like wildfire, every major news channel and social media platform was abuzz with Min-Soo's name.
"Who is this talented young man?" a popular news anchor asked, playing a clip of Min-Soo's dance video.
Online comments poured in:
"Wow, he's so cool!"
"Is it just me, or does he look a bit like Jungkook?"
"No way, he's way better than Jungkook!"
Others dismissed the comparisons: "Don't be ridiculous, he's his own person!"
Min-Soo's phone blew up with notifications. He sat in his dorm room, wide-eyed and overwhelmed.
"Trainer-nim, is this really happening?" he asked Choi Jin-Hyun, who stood beside him.
Jin-Hyun smiled proudly. "You're a star, Min-Soo. Enjoy the ride."
As Min-Soo scrolled through the endless comments, a mix of emotions swirled inside him: excitement, gratitude, and a hint of unease.
Meanwhile, Jeon Jungkook scrolled through his own social media feed, his expression unreadable. His eyes lingered on a video of Min-Soo dancing to one of his hit songs.
"What's going on?" Jungkook asked Jimin, who sat across from him.
"YPS Entertainment's new talent, Jungkook," his manager replied. "Rumors say he's being groomed as your replacement."
Jungkook's gaze narrowed. "Replacement?"
Jimin, well-connected in the industry, had insider knowledge that kept him informed about behind-the-scenes developments. He had learned about Min-Soo through his vast network.
Jungkook sighed, rubbing his temples. "He's just a kid, hyung. Let it be. It's not like they're going to harm us. They're doing their own thing, and we'll focus on ours."
Jimin nodded, but his mind raced with apprehension. He couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. "I'll keep an eye on this, Kook. I don't want anything to jeopardize your career"
Jungkook's expression softened. "Thanks, hyung. But let's not worry about it now. We have our own music to make."
Jimin's gaze lingered on Jungkook before he nodded. "You're right."
Later that night, Jimin discreetly made a few calls, gathering more information about Min-Soo and YPS Entertainment's plans.
"Beom-Seok's playing a risky game," Jimin thought to himself, his brow furrowed with concern. "I need to stay vigilant."
