Jungkook spent a blissful month with Taehyung, recuperating from his injuries. For the first fifteen days, Taehyung devotedly cared for him, but Jungkook soon insisted that Taehyung return to work, unwilling to disrupt his life further. Every day, Jungkook's father would call to inquire about his well-being, reassured by his steady progress.

Now, fully recovered, Jungkook sat at home with Jimin, still adhering to doctor's orders to avoid strenuous activities that might strain his upper body. The past month with Taehyung had been a dream come true. Jungkook cherished the mornings, waking Taehyung with gentle kisses on his cheeks or lips, eliciting sweet nothings that made his heart flutter.

Rumors of Taehyung and Jungkook's relationship swirled, but Jimin swiftly dispelled them, honoring Taehyung's request to protect Jungkook's career. However, Jungkook harbored other plans.

Today, Jungkook's father was visiting, and Jungkook and Jimin eagerly awaited his arrival. As they heard the doorbell, Jungkook's excitement grew.

"Jimin, hyung, Dad's here!" Jungkook exclaimed, his eyes sparkling.

Jimin smiled. "Let's go greet him."

As they entered the living room, Jungkook's father enveloped him in a warm hug. "Son, it's wonderful to see you fully recovered."

"Thanks, Dad. I'm feeling great," Jungkook replied, beaming.

His father's gaze lingered on Jungkook's happy face. "I can see that. You seem... radiant. Is everything okay?"

Jungkook exchanged a glance with Jimin, his heart racing with secrets. "Everything's perfect, Dad. Just happy to be home."

Just then, Seokjin's voice echoed from behind, "A famous K-pop idol lives here? Didn't expect this, Jungkookie." Jin's mocking tone made Jimin sigh.

Jungkook's father, Junseo, shot Jin a stern glance. "Keep your voice down, Jin."

But Jin protested, "What, Dad? Don't look at me like that." He scoffed and settled into the couch.

Jungkook, still smiling, approached his hyung. "Hyung, are you here to see me?"

Jin's expression turned sarcastic. "No, I just tagged along with Father." His words stung, but Jungkook hid his hurt.

"I'm glad you came, Hyung," Jungkook said calmly, though his heart ached.

Jimin intervened, "Jin, let's not bother Jungkook. He needs rest."

Jin raised an eyebrow. "Oh, I'm bothering him? Sorry, Your Highness." His sarcasm hung in the air.

Junseo stepped in, "Jin, apologize. That's not how you speak to your brother."

Jin muttered under his breath but eventually said, "Sorry, Jungkook."

Jungkook forced a smile. "It's okay, Hyung. Let's catch up."

Jin scoffed, waving his hand dismissively. "Don't bother talking to me."

But Jungkook's eyes welled up with tears. He knelt beside Jin, his voice trembling. "Hyung, please forgive me. I was foolish to trust that friend who betrayed me and stole my money. I had nothing left, but I was too ashamed to come back to you."

Jin's stoic expression faltered, concern etching on his face. "Get up, Kookie. What are you doing?"

Jungkook shook his head, tears streaming down. "I'm sorry, Hyung. I should have come to you sooner. Please forgive me."

Jin's anger melted away, replaced by compassion. He lifted Jungkook up and sat him beside him. "It's okay, little brother. Don't cry. I was just mad. Sorry if my words hurt you, Kookie."

Jungkook buried his face in Jin's shoulder, embracing him tightly. "No need to apologize, Hyung. I understand."

Jin wrapped his arms around Jungkook, holding him close. "I'm sorry I wasn't there for you. You're my brother, and I love you no matter what."

As they hugged, Jungkook's tears slowed, replaced by a sense of relief and belonging.

Jimin and Junseo beamed with joy, seeing the brothers reunited. Jimin announced, "Let's have dinner everyone! Today, Kook and I prepared a special meal."

The group headed to the dining table, eager to savor the culinary delights. Jin teased Jungkook throughout dinner, while Junseo praised Jimin and Jungkook's cooking skills.

"This is amazing, boys! You've outdone yourselves," Junseo said, smiling.

Jin chuckled, nudging Jungkook. "Kookie's finally learned to cook."

Jungkook blushed, playfully rolling his eyes. "Hyung, stop."

After dinner, Junseo and Jin retired to the guest room, leaving Jimin and Jungkook to relax.

As Jungkook settled into bed, his phone buzzed with a message from Taehyung: "Meet me at the same restaurant we went to last time. Come alone."

Jungkook's curiosity piqued, he asked, "Why do you want to meet?"

Taehyung's response was cryptic: "It's a surprise. Just be there tomorrow morning."

Jungkook's excitement grew. "Okay, I'll be there! Can't wait!"

Taehyung's reply sent Jungkook's heart racing: "Me neither, Kook. Sweet dreams."

Jungkook couldn't sleep, his mind racing with possibilities. What could Taehyung have planned?
