The sun hung low in the sky as Naruto and Sasuke emerged from the dimensional rift into the familiar landscape of Konoha. The village felt different now; the air was heavy with loss, and a palpable tension filled the streets. They made their way to the memorial stone, the place where many of their friends' names were etched in stone, reminders of their sacrifices.

As they reached the stone, the weight of Jiro's absence hit Naruto like a physical blow. Memories of their battle played through his mind, flashing images of Jiro's fierce determination and the way he had fought for their future. Tears filled his eyes as he placed a trembling hand on the stone.

"He sacrificed everything..." Naruto whispered, his voice choked with emotion. "I couldn't save him. I promised... I promised I wouldn't let anyone else die."

Sasuke stood beside him, his expression somber but resolute. "We will avenge him, Naruto. This isn't over. We have to get stronger."

"Stronger?" Naruto's gaze hardened, and the flicker of anger ignited within him. "I won't just get stronger. I'll hunt down every last Otsutsuki and make them pay for what they've done!"

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting shadows over the village, they decided to gather the remaining members of Team 7 and the council. Naruto felt an overwhelming urge to inform everyone about the Otsutsuki threat and the devastating consequences of their actions.

The council meeting took place in the Hokage office. A heavy silence filled the room as Naruto and Sasuke recounted the events of the battle, detailing Jiro's heroic sacrifice and the unstoppable power of the Otsutsuki.

"What can we do?" Shikamaru asked, furrowing his brow in thought. "We need a plan, and we need to strengthen our defenses. This isn't just a matter of fighting one enemy anymore; they're a whole race with a goal."

Sakura, her voice hard, added, "We need to train harder than ever. We can't let their death be in vain. We need to prepare for whatever comes next."

Naruto nodded, fire igniting within him. "I'm going to train, too. I need to master this new power I felt during the fight. If we want to stop the Otsutsuki, we have to be ready for anything."

The council members agreed, each vowing to contribute to the training efforts. As they began to disperse, Naruto felt a sense of urgency. He needed to harness his new strength and turn his grief into action.

In the following days, Naruto threw himself into training. He pushed himself harder than ever before, sparring with Sasuke, focusing on honing his newfound strength, and mastering the chakra surges he'd felt during the battle. Each failure fueled his determination to get stronger, to ensure that he would never be powerless again. He used his shadow clones for higher efficiency.

Sasuke, meanwhile, delved into his own training, honing his Sharingan and learning to manipulate dimensions more efficiently. He practiced with the others, offering insights and strategies that could give them an edge against the Otsutsuki aswell as using shadow clones although not to the extent of Naruto.

As they trained, they shared stories of Jiro, their fallen comrade, drawing strength from his memory. Each tale ignited their resolve, reminding them of the bond they shared and the reasons they fought.

A week later, during another council meeting, Naruto stood before everyone, his presence commanding attention. "We need to find out more about the Otsutsuki and their plans. We know they have a god tree draining chakra from the multiverse, and I want to learn everything we can about it."

Shikamaru, now deep in thought, replied, "We need to gather information from other dimensions. It might be risky, but if we can infiltrate their operations and gather intel, we can disrupt their plans."

"Agreed," Naruto said, his gaze firm. "I'll take the lead. We'll split into teams and explore different realms to witness the devastation they've caused and gather intel. We need to be ready for anything."

The council discussed the logistics, formulating a plan that would allow them to explore various worlds while keeping their village safe. Each team would focus on different dimensions, aiming to uncover the Otsutsuki's weaknesses and discover more about the god tree.

As they planned their mission, a dark presence loomed over them. Unbeknownst to Naruto and the council, one of the Otsutsuki had been watching from afar, biding his time. The threads of fate were weaving a more dangerous tapestry, one that would test their resolve and challenge their bonds.
