Meanwhile, at a house just 9 miles away, Eddie Brock, was prepared to head down to his job at The Salem News.
He drove his red 1988 Plymouth Sundance all the way from his house to his workplace.
Eddie had found out about what happened at the school.
He had a devious facial expression, intent on initiating a smear campaign.
Eddie went into his office, and put the following words on the newspaper headline: "Max Dennison: A Psychopath."
Many copies were being printed, and Eddie sat down in his chair, where he grabs a bucket of popcorn.
"As soon as this bird starts flying, I will be given a bonus for what I just published, and Max will be in juvie for the rest of his miserable life." he added.
Eddie watched as the delivery truck left.
He had hopes his plan would work as he watched the deliveries being made with the newspapers.
But he felt hopeful of his plan succeeding, and as he saw the papers being published, Eddie saw the image on the front cover.
It was Jay and Ernie, who were in the hospital due to their injuries, and who Eddie saw as potential allies.
