After finishing up with work for the day, Eddie Brock drove to Salem Hospital, intent on locating Jay and Ernie.
Three staff members passed by, and he ran into a doctor.
"Where are Jay and Ernie at?" Eddie asked.
"They are just down that way." the doctor answered.
Eddie proceeded to walk down the hallway, and went to a standard ward, the one where Jay and Ernie were located.
The two were on the verge of being discharged from the hospital, while Eddie came into the room.
"If it isn't the ones who were tormenting Max Dennison. I have heard about you." he added, while making eye contact with both of them.
"Who are you?" Jay asked.
"It's Brock, sir. Edward Brock Jr." Eddie replied.
"So Eddie, what's your reason for being here?" Ernie asked.
"I started a smear campaign on that Hollywood boy. So, let's cut to the chase. You guys love to bully him, so how about this. With all three of us, there's no way he'll stand a chance. Are you interested in joining me in the rest of my plan to get Max to juvie?" Eddie remarked.
The two agreed to it, so they can take more of his possessions from him.
Jay and Ernie were informed by a nearby doctor that they were discharged from the hospital, and they went in a single-file line with Eddie.
The trio went to Eddie's car, intent on accelerating the smear campaign against Max.
