1 week later, Max went to school, and was relieved to find out Jay and Ernie, who called himself Ice, weren't there.
"Even though they bullied me, I still wonder what happened." Max told himself as he walked into the school, and went to class while holding Allison's hand.
Meanwhile, at the Suffolk County Jail, Jay and Ernie were cellmates, fuming at their predicament.
Jay was waiting in his cell as Ice was taken to court to go on trial for his involvement with Eddie's activities.
As for Jay, he had been set to be on trial separately at another date.
A prison guard came to the cell.
"Jay Taylor, your grandmother has paid your bail, and you're being released into her custody pending your trial." the guard said.
"Oh please." Jay added in disgust.
Standing in front of Jay was a woman in her mid-to-late 70s, as she had a cane.
"You rotten little dweeb. I try to help you adjust to life in this town, and this is the thanks you give me?" the woman said, expressing her disappointment.
She grabbed Jay by the left ear as he screamed.
"You break my fragile heart, and I hope they throw the book at you." the woman commented on her disappointment in her grandson.
"Ah shut up, Nana Taylor." Jay said in disgust.
This led Nana Taylor to spank him as soon as they left the prison.
