Dani was all tied up to a chair.
Eddie Brock was carrying a bottle of cyanide, intent on using it to kill Dani.
He was also going to force Dani's mouth open, leaving her to whimper in fear.
Max, Allison, and Emily arrived on the scene.
They knew Dani must be inside the cottage.
"Well, this will be the perfect thing when after you die in front of your brother, he's the next to die." Eddie remarked.
"I'm not too sure. Sure, Ice and I bully Max, but his death, that's something we don't want to be a part of." Jay said, carrying a fearful facial expression on his face.
He and Ernie left the cottage just to see Max, Allison, and Emily in front of the cottage.
"Ed's gone off the rails. After he kills you sister, he'll kill you." Jay explained.
Max has a sense of uneasy trust, but accepts what they were saying.
After Max gets out of the car, Riot envelops him, then throws Jay and Ernie at a nearby tree, causing them to get scratches.
"If you make any more attempts to bully people in the town, you're dead." Riot commented he lept from the scene.
Dani was about to ingest the cyanide, but Riot burst into the cottage.
"Have no fear. Riot is here!" Riot declares, intent on saving Dani.
Eddie turns around, and Venom takes on another form.
He lunges at Riot, and they roll out into the graveyard.
As Venom makes construct sledgehammers, Riot lunges at him, sending them both flying backwards.
They ran at each other, and the two started to throw punches at one another.
As Venom and Riot were fighting, Allison got a propane tank out of her car.
"Why do you have one of those things?" Emily asked.
"Heat and loud noises is what hurts those creatures called Symbiotes." Allison answered.
Emily now understood.
Venom picked up some wood from the damaged cottage, and threw it at Riot, who formed a construct shield, blocking the blow.
Riot charged at Venom, only to get flung into some bushes with the tendrils.
Allison turned her car's radio volume to it's highest, causing both symbiotes to detach from their respective hosts.
Eddie had picked up a broken part of the fence, then walked towards Max.
"You want to write about me, don't you?" Eddie asked.
Max nodded yes.
"Good, then write about when I was the punching bag, by my MOMMY, DADDY, AND DEAR OLD GRANNY!!!" Eddie screamed, as he was strangling Max with his own bare hands.
He pushed Max in front of Emily's open grave.
"You should consider telling every single human being on this planet that I, Eddie Brock, was a scared little kid, who no one cared about, no one bothered to help, and NOBODY SAVED!" Eddie added as he raised the broken part of the fence, then stabbed Max in the right leg.
"In my world, that would be BAD WRITING!" Eddie added as he thrust the broken part of the fence through Max's left leg, where he is nearing death while Venom re-bonds to Eddie.
Allison, Emily, and Dani are horrified at what had happened, and hoped that Max would survive.
However, their hopes come true, as Riot slithers to Max and re-bonds to him, reviving the host as Riot removes the broken piece of fence from where it was as Max's wound regenerates.
He whacks Venom, then, after Allison drums on the part of the fence that is still intact, causing Venom to detach from Eddie, but irritates Riot.
Riot grabs the propane tank, then retreats back into Max, still holding it.
Eddie was confused, but then saw Max Dennison about to throw the propane tank like a hand grenade.
"Max, please, don't do what I think you're about to do." Eddie said, desperate to dissuade Max from going through with what he's about to do.
"No. DON'T!!!" a desperate Eddie Brock screamed as he lunged at Venom, intending to re-bond with the symbiote at the same time Max threw the propane tank.
After the propane tank hit the ground, it exploded, killing both Eddie and Venom.
Allison, Emily, and Dani got out of the car, as they were safe.
Emily walked up to the open grave where she was originally buried in.
Max looked at the gravestone in front of him. It read "Here lies y body of Emily Binx, beloved daughter & sister. Died y 31 o October 1693. Sweet Emily, taken from us most unnaturally. Rest and waite for us in a world beyond."
After that, he looked down 6 feet under, and there was the smoking, smoldering corpse of Eddie Brock.
Max then returned to the car, and he, Dani, Emily, and Allison left the scene.
As they were leaving, a police car arrived, and the two cops went to look for both Jay and Ernie, who were hiding in the graveyard after bailing out.
After Allison dropped off Max, Dani, and Emily, Dave and Jenny Dennison came worried about their children, and Max told them of what had just happened.
