Cora’s POV

I summon Gareth, the only counselman I can trust to do as I say in the throne room while Regina is out. Once he enters, I tell him to put out a bounty for Emma, but not to make a public announcement. Regina will be none the wiser when her precious Emma disappears from her life for good. She’ll be locked in her room and finally I will rule this kingdom without having to run anything by Regina.

Emma’s POV

-Time Skip a few days-

I’m in the market grabbing some things mom needed for the house, when a crossbow is pressed into my back and a rough voice says, “come with me”. Of course I have no choice, so I do. When we’re out of the public I ask “what do you guys want?”, seeing the other two guys.

“There’s a bounty of 75,000 to bring you into the castle without being noticed by anyone. So we’re going to leave you in the dungeon and be on our merry way. When we reach the dungeon, they push me into a cell, closing the door behind them.

“Wait! Who put you up to this?” I yell.

“That’s for us to know and you to never find out” the voice says as they leave.

It must have been Cora. I knew something was off about her. How the heck am I going to be able to alert Regina that I’m in here. Then, I remember all of the guards here are friends of Eddy and Regina. After waiting a while, the guards seem to be making their rounds. I hear one nearby.

“Hey! Hey you, I need your help. Please! It’s about Regina.” I seem to have gotten his attention. He begins to walk over.

“Wait, Emma?” I realized it was one of the guards Eddy always hangs out with.

“Yeah, Charles, right?”

“Yeah, how’d you know?”

“Eddy was talking about you.”

“Edward? I’m going to call him Eddy later to see what he says. Anyways, how’d you end up in the dungeon?” He asks as his blue eyes flash with interest.

“It seems like Cora sent out a bounty for me, but that’s not important right now. I need you to tell Eddy to warn Regina about Cora. I can’t have her captured again.”

“Okay Emma. I’ll be back soon.”

After a few hours I start to get worried, but then Charles comes bursting in. Alright, Regina knows and she is not happy about it. She’s gathering villagers to free you.

Regina’s POV

I step up on a table to get their attention.
Dear subjects,

A life is in danger in that dungeon. Though she is unknown to you, her plight calls for our courage and unity.

Every second counts. Unite our strength, break through the darkness, and free her from her chains.

We are her beacon of hope. Act now, with all the bravery and compassion that defines us. Together, we can bring light to the darkest of places and save her!"

With that, they all cheer and gather the supplies we need.
