Emma’s POV

The next morning.

“Mom, Dad”, I have some news to share.

“What is it sweetie?” Mom asks.

“Last night” I say while showing them the ring -

“Regina beat you to it?” Mom says.

“Yeah, she did. But, I proposed to her right after. Ruby kinda spilled the beans saying that I ‘didn’t have the balls’ to do it first.”

They both giggle. “When’s the wedding and can I help plan it?” Mom asks.

“Don’t know yet, but I’m sure Regina would love that.”

Regina’s POV

Snow and I are having breakfast together. I decide to tell her. “So, Snow. I proposed to Emma last night.” I say with a smile reminiscing  how the night went. “She said yes, to my proposal.”

“Finally! It took you long enough.” She says.

“That’s what everyone keeps telling me. Anyway, I was wondering. Would you be the flower girl?”

Her face brightens up with excitement. “Of course! I would love that.”

–Time Skip to One Month Later–

Emma’s POV

I pace around the house in my dress, impatiently waiting for my Mom and Dorothy to finish helping Ruby get Regina ready. I need them to tell me about how she’s doing as they help me get ready.

–Time Skip–

I stand on the platform at the end of the aisle waiting for Regina to walk down. I take in the scenery around me. I hadn’t noticed my surroundings before. I was so engulfed with my nerves and waiting for Regina. There are three rows of seats on both sides of the aisle. My side has all the villagers along with Ruby and Dorothy in the front row. Two spots are opened for Mom and Dad. Eddy is standing on my left ready to officiate the wedding and Charlie is behind me with the rings. The guards are on Regina’s side. There’s a beautiful flower arch they made, that Regina and I will be standing under together. I see my mom walking over to her seat, then shortly after Snow elegantly walks down the aisle spreading flowers across the floor as the music procession begins. I see Regina and Dad together. My dad walks her down the aisle. My heart stops when the two of us lock eyes together. God, she is the most gorgeous bride I have ever seen. When they make it to the end of the aisle, dad hands her over to me, and kisses us both on the forehead before walking to his seat next to Mom.

“What a momentous day it is today. These two have been through so much in such a short amount of time. They have reminded us, that throughout any hardship, once two people truly love each other, there is nothing they cannot overcome. Today, we have gathered here to celebrate and support these two beautiful women in holy matrimony. I believe that they both have opted to write their own vows. Emma, if you will.”

“Regina, from the moment I met you, I knew my life would never be the same. I promise to stand by your side through every adventure, following you wherever life takes us. Our love will bring harmony and joy to our lives. I vow to cherish you and make you smile, every day.” I see my Mom wiping her tears.

“Your Majesty, if you will.”

“Emma, in your eyes, I see my future. In your heart, I find my home. I vow to fight for us and nurture our love, knowing it’s the most important thing worth fighting for. Our love will create a lifetime of happiness. I promise to love you fiercely and be your partner in all things.”

With that, Charlie provides the ring to us.

“Do you, Emma Swan, take Queen Regina to be your lovely wedded wife.”

“I do,” I say as I slide the moon ring onto Regina’s finger.

“And do you, Queen Regina Mills take Emma to be your lovely wedded wife.”

“I do,” she says as she slides the sun ring on my finger.

At this point, tears have filled both of our eyes.

“You may now kiss the bride.” As we kiss, everyone is cheering for us in the background. We leave to the reception hall of the castle, where everyone has a wonderful time drinking, dancing and celebrating our newest adventure.
