As we entered the tent, I was desperately looking for Ilyada, but unfortunately I couldn't find her.

There were so many people. I had no idea where she could be.

Jamie and I sat down together. Maybe he wasn't one of Phoenix's performers after all, he clearly had no idea this was gonna happen.

"Did you know this was gonna happen?" I asked, just in case he maybe would give me a different answer.

"No" he said, his teeth clenched against each other.

The tent lit up, and everyone went quiet.

The floor opened, revealing water, lots of water, the ground was now a pool.

And once again there was the girl with the butterflies wings, this time, she was on a huge swing.

She looked happy, she was smiling as if she had the time of her life.

Twenty-something other performers were doing the same thing, on smaller swings. One by one they jumped off, right into the pool.

It didn't seem dark or scary at all, it looked like a good summer time actually.

I wasn't even looking at the girl anymore, until every performer jumped off their swing. It was only her left, she was joined by a man now.

All the performers were dancing around and the crowd was loving it. Clapping their hands with the rhythm of the music.

It definitely looked like a romance.

But just as everyone started believing in the romance, huge floating screens popped up, protecting their faces in close up.

The girl was absolutely stunning, dark hair, beautiful blue eyes, and such a soft smile.

Before they could zoom in on the guy, he pushed her off the swing, letting her fall down and the music stopped.

The ceiling of the tent opened up again, and it was raining, thundering, lighting crashing inside.

"Fuck" I mumbled.

If this was a last minute decision to do this show, then I seriously started wondering how powerful Phoenix really was.

It was raining so hard inside the tent that no one noticed the pool was gone. It was solid ground again.

The butterflies wings of the girl were totally wet and ruined, she was just sitting on the floor, alone, on the side.

Until 30 performers walked on the floor, doing all sort of crazy things. I couldn't even look at all of them, there were so many.

Until a huge throne came out of the floor, right in the middle of it.

Sitting on it, was one man.

Phoenix.

The performers grabbed the butterfly girl from the side and taught her a few things, until her wings were even bigger.

And all of a sudden, she was on trapezes, doing stuff I've never seen before.

Until she flew through the air and landed right next to Phoenix.

The screens popped up again. This time projecting the guy on the throne, who now had his arm around the girl.

White shirt, black bowtie, black suspenders and when he smiled..

his dimples popped up.
