Needless to say, I won our little race. Which wasn't really an accomplishment because he literally let me win.

Which was a win at itself because that meant he wanted me to sleep in his room.

He left me after we arrived back to the palace. Said he had things to do. I didn't mind too much, I wanted to explore everything on my own anyways.

I took a stroll through the city, everyone seemed happy around here, it made me happy as well.

After the walk around the city, I returned back to the palace.

I laid down on the grass, looking up at the stars in the sky. It was absolutely beautiful, peaceful even.

It's been a long time since I felt like that.

"Can I join you?" Riven's face popped up in front of me before laying down next to me.

"Not leaving me a choice there, did you?" I said jokingly.

"Yeah well this is actually my spot so.." he mumbled a little. "You're lucky I want to share it with you"

I rolled my eyes, looking back up at the stars.

"So you and Jamie are friends?" I asked, I already knew they were but I always thought the silence was a bit awkward.

"Yes" he said. "I owe everything to him, he saved me, taught me a lot"

"He saved you from Phoenix?"

"From the whole Utopia circus, getting your mind erased over and over again is pretty damaging"

I can imagine. It only happened to me once and I was already confused as can be.

"So he saved Laila as well, right?"

Riven just nodded.

"Because she's his girlfriend?" I said quickly and softly.

Riven turned his face to me, I could swear he had a smile on his face but I didn't want to look back at him.

"Really interested in that, aren't you?"

I just shrugged. But yeah I couldn't help but wonder what her relationship to him was.

"So you were a performer as well?" Riven asked, I just shook my head, which made him frown. "You weren't?"

"No I wasn't. I just went to the show"

He went silent, turned his face back up to the stars and mumbled. "Interesting"

'Where are you?' Jamie asked.

'Looking at the stars with Riven' I answered. Not a lie, but I knew it would definitely irritate him.

There was a silence, he probably closed my door to curse a little.

'You're doing what?' He said surprisingly calm.

'Looking at the stars and Riven was so kind to join me' I said. 'It's pretty romantic'

'Is it now yeah?" I could hear the irritation in his voice.

And then I closed his door again.

"Do you know what happened to Jamie?" I kept vague, just in case he didn't know.

"He told me, about the curse you mean?" He asked.

I nodded. "Did he try to break the curse already?"

"Yeah but unfortunately nothing worked"

"Is the curse even real?" I now turned my head at him as well.

"You wanna test it?" He raised his eyebrow with a smirk.

I definitely wouldn't mind kissing him, but I also didn't want to die.

"Not really" I mumbled.

Riven sat up a little, looked behind him and got up. "I should go, I'm feeling pretty tired. Good night Aurora"

"Good night Riven" I answered. I was getting tired as well. Seemed like the days went quickly around here.

Even though I felt safe here, pretty happy as well, I needed to get out of here. I don't know what I was doing here.

I needed to find my mom.

Someone laid down next to me again, probably Riven who decided to stay anyways.

"Back so soon?" I turned my head, but it wasn't Riven, it was Jamie. "Oh I thought you were Riven"

"Don't look so disappointed" he said, putting his arm under his head. "I am way cuter anyways"

I rolled my eyes, looking back up.

"But you were right, it's pretty romantic" he turned his head to me. "It would be even more romantic if you were laying in my arms, wouldn't it?"

I looked at him again. "Are you flirting with me Jamie?"

"I have been since the beginning of Utopia, but thanks for noticing" he said as he opened his arms and tilted his head a little.

I shook my head with a smile before I snuggled into his arms. My head on his chest, his arms wrapped around me.

Maybe I could stay a little while longer.
