19: "Stuck Together in Ice"

Moon was clicking through things on the computer. "Anything?"

"No." Sun responds. They were sitting on the little green platform in the ballpit.

Moon clicks the mouse again. "Next."

"No."

"Next." He repeats.

Sun sighs. "Nothing."

Moon boringly continues clicking and repeating the same thing, getting a no for each time.

"..Next."

Sun flinches. "Oo, ouch.." They hold their head.

"What? Was that it?" Moon questions them.

"Y-Yeah.. That felt like a shock in the head.." Sun says.

"Goddamn it." Moon said.

"What?"

"Of course the shard has to be in a blizzard. I can't go there alone, I'll freeze and power off for who knows how long." Moon is irritated at the location of the wither shard.

"Well.. I can go with you." Sun stands up.

"Uhhh, I don't think so. You're not that great in the snow." Moon shakes his head. "Let me think.. Obviously, we can't just bring some kind of heater.."

Eventually, they resort to calling Solar for help. Moon and Sun meet up with each other at the security desk for better communication.

"Why is it in a blizzard?" Solar questions.

"Don't know. It just is. Anyways, I can't go there alone. And no, Sun is not going either, they'd do a lot worse than me in that snow." Moon said. "Do you have anything that can withstand a blizzard?"

"Uhh, lemme look." Solar takes a moment to look through his things. "Hm.. The best thing that I've got that could withstand the freezing temperatures of a blizzard... well.. it's not a thing, but a person."

"..What?"

"Animatronic, I mean. Jack can withstand very harsh, freezing temperatures. I've built in a lot of heating technology in his systems, mostly in his legs. He's also got other sorts of stuff to stay warm." Solar explains.

"Are you sure that Jack will be fine? I mean.. I don't have heaters, but.. Nevermind, actually. It's probably not going to take too long if it's Jack." Moon breathes out. "Okay, Jack it is, then."

"Will Jack be okay with that?" Sun questions.

"Jack was built to be able to resist a lot of things. He has flamethrowers to warm himself up if the cold is too much. I think you'll be fine." Solar said.

Moon nods. "We'll try not to take too long. You're watching Bloodmoon, right?"

"Yeah, Jack is on him. He's just sitting in the corner staring at the wall like some kid in timeout. It's kinda funny." The other scoffs.

"Probably going to have to lock him up. I really don't think that you'll be able to deal with him yourself if he attacks. At least with Jack gone." Moon warns him.

Solar hums. "We'll be fine. Jupiter's here visiting. They're on a whole different level from Jack. Venus is here, too, and Pluto, but they don't really compare that well."

"Don't offend the woman, now, S." Jupiter says in the background. His voice suddenly grows louder. "Hi Sunny, Moony! Gonna go get a wither shard, huh?"
