7: "The Rebuilding Process.."

I can't wait to get to the chapter of Jack's introduction, cuz my version of Jack is totally different from the Sun and Moon Show Jack.

Solar sighs, taking his binoculars off. It had been close to week of him working on Jack. He seemed to be working on screwing in and installing wires to a massive bone structure, which must have been for the wings. The wings had a spooky spider design, but it wasn't shown too well in the light.

He was playing some rock music in the background as he worked, it soothed his mind.

"Honey, I'm home!" Lunar loudly barges into Solar's working area.

"Do you have to scream?" Solar questions him.

"I like making an entrance!" Lunar bounces up to Solar full of excitement. "Look, I took one of Earth's bow things, put it on!" He holds Solar's hand as he puts the bow on one of his rays.

"That's gonna get oil all over it." Solar said. He sighs. "I'm working, by the way. If it wasn't obvious.."

"Am I not allowed to come see you? I got bored! And I ate all my Nutella toasts, and laid down on the pool table for 30 minutes." Lunar groans.

"Just go like.. to your happy spot." Solar said. He was standing still while Lunar was moving every once in a while.

"You are my happy spot." Lunar intertwines his fingers with Solar, looking at him admiringly.

"I-" Solar couldn't help but chuckle. "That's cute, but I'm not a spot."

-Just to clarify, yes Solar and Lunar are an implied couple in this. I know Lunar is canonly with Gemini now, but he and Solar are both human souls of 17 year old kids in my story(technically Solar is 18 since he dies like right before his birthday) and Gemini is like.. so much older than then cuz they're an Astral, and that'd be weird. Also don't get mad at me for shipping minors, cuz they're completely made up characters, I'm a minor too, and it's not uncommon to see minor, school kids dating, it's pretty normal in real life(at least at schools LMAO making out everywhere)-

Lunar looks at Jack who was on the table still in the process of his redesign. "That looks like a lot of work."

"You have no idea. But I've gotta do it if I want to protect the family." Solar said. He walks with Lunar to the computer, having to switch their hands in handholding so it was more comfortable. "I've been studying ways of how to get Jack to fly, and the best idea was to base his flying method off of an airplane. You know, so the four forces balance him out? When he's flying, he shouldn't need to flap his wings too much."

"Fighter jet." Lunar says. He needed to lean over as Solar sat down still holding his hand which pulled him down. "Does this mean that he's not going to break my stuff anymore?"

"He shouldn't, I've been trying to fix that trait in his system. I can't fully guarantee it, he'll be taking up a lot of space once I finish him. You know, long body and giant wings. All that.." Solar looks at the computer screens. There was a lot of information and blueprints for Jack's body.

"Oh, so you just made him attractive." Lunar said.

"What?" Solar looks up at him.

"What?" Lunar looks back at him. "I didn't say anything.

"I heard what you said. You said I'm just making him attractive? Actually, I shouldn't even be questioning what you said." Solar shakes his head. "Because apparently, you're into tall people."

"Yeah, I do." Lunar puts his head against Solar's.

"You're such a freaky 17 year old." Solar sighs.
