23: "Serious Business"

"Ceres is.. another Astral. But not like us." Castor starts off. "He's our opposite."

The little robot takes some time to process this information. "He's a dark Astral?"

"You could call it that, yeah. He's the only one, far as we know. "He's.."

"His repertoire, is growing.." Taurus whispers.

"Yeah.. Rez works for Ceres. Everything connected to dark star power works for Ceres." Castor explains some more. "You know how we're supposed to foster this universe? Keep it from progressing the destruction?"

"Stop the wither storm, from happening. As.. much as you can." Lunar says.

"Correct. Eventually our stars will burn out, and the wither storm will happen.." Castor leaves it at that.

"And yet.. they know not that their powers will destroy them." Taurus said.

"Ceres tries to accelerate the destruction of the universe." Castro continues after the comment.

"So it made Rez to infect planets?" Lunar speaks in a softer voice, trying his best to take in all the information.

"We don't know if it made Rez. But.. yes. It uses Rez, as well as other creatures. ..Ceres is our enemy.. our only true enemy." Castor grows serious. "If we stop him, and what he's controlling.. this universe will live for a very, very long time."

There was a long pause. Lunar looks off to the side. "So that's what you were saying and you were telling me to train my powers, to fight..?"

"Yes."

Taurus chuckles some more. "You hope too much, Gemini."

"..Even if.." Pollux started, but she gets cut off.

"We are more powerful than this thing ever will be, and we can't even stop that. Yet." Taurus said.

"How do you know you're stronger than me?" Lunar questions.

"W-Well, that'd be.. a little.. I wouldn't even uhm.." Pollux stutters.

"Would you like to find out?" Taurus questions him.

"That's not what I was saying." Lunar said.

Pollux stutters some more, creating some kind of new gibberish with the way she dragged her voice along. "Uhm, I was gonna say.. You know, even if he can't stop it himself, I think the creation of new star life is what's drawing Ceres closer to Lunar, because maybe he can use him to spread more chaos and stuff. But just an idea, I'm only coming up with things.."

"Or.. he's looking for somebody that's more.. malleable, to what he wants." Taurus said.

"Maybe?" Pollux shrugs.

"What did you mean when you said how do we know that we're stronger than you, Lunar?" Castor couldn't help but bring the topic back.

"When I got here Taurus, you said you saw the power flickering through my eyes, right?" Lunar questions the Astral.

Taurus chuckles again. "Just because you cannot quell the power within does not make you stronger."
