"Check out what I found!". Zakai yelled as he ran towards the herd, carrying some circular objects in his paws.

Crash's grin faded as he saw that Zakai was holding onto two decently sized eggs, Dino eggs by the looks of them.

"Uh babe, where did you get those from?". Eddie asked nervously.

"I found them a few days ago when I was exploring around the Ice Valley". Zakai explained cheerfully, seemingly oblivious to the problems this would soon cause.

"Those are Dino eggs Zak, someone's probably looking for them". Gavin cut in sharply.

Zakai waved his paw, nearly dropping one of the eggs in the process. "They were laying in a cavern by themselves".

"Were they in an ice cave near the Lost World entrance?". Crash asked sternly.

Zakai shrugged sheepishly. "Uh huh".

"Whoever put the eggs there probably did so to keep them away from Rudy or any other predators". Crash explained.

Sid shuffled over to see what was up. He took one look at the eggs and cringed. "Dude seriously, take them back".

Zakai looked over at Eddie pleadingly. "We wanted to start a family didn't we?".

Eddie looked at his mate sympathetically. "Stealing Dino eggs isn't the way to do it babe".

Zakai opened his mouth to reply but was cut off by a vicious roar from somewhere in the distance as the rest of the herd froze in horror.

"No one move or make a sound". Crash instructed in a whisper as an angry T - Rex came thundering out from the other side of the beach.

Unfortunately the Dino eggs deemed that exact moment to be the perfect opportunity to hatch out of their shells, hiding behind Zakai fearfully as the adult Rex (Who was probably their mother) came closer and roared.

The rest of the herd hid behind the trees as Zakai stood in front of "his" kids protectively. The babies cowered away from their birth mother since they did not know her.

"Give them back, she's their real parent!". Eddie called out to his mate.

"How do I know that?". Zakai called back, watching as the mother Rex tried to get a look at her babies.

"She looks exactly like them, give them back you moron!". Diego yelled, trying to shield Sid from the angry Dino.

Sid looked at the red furred possum. "Zak I get what you're going through but you can't keep them!".

The herd's pleas went unheard as the mother Rex picked up her babies as well as Zakai before stomping back to the Lost World.

"Zak!". Eddie called out desperately as Crash rushed to hold him back as the mother Rex thundered out of sight.

Crash turned towards his herd with a sigh. "Looks like were going back to the Lost World".

"Are you serious?". Zara asked incredulously.

"Zar, he's our friend, we gotta save him". Crash replied, looking at his friend weirdly.

The herd started walking until Diego stopped and looked back at Sid, who hadn't moved. "Sid, let's go!".

"Why?!". The sloth asked nervously, crossing his arms.

"I want you to see what we had to deal with trying to get you back". Diego replied with a devious smirk.

"Am I seriously being punished?, I said I was sorry!". Sid asked as he followed his herd out of the cove.

Once the group stepped out onto the foliage covered ground of the Lost World Crash couldn't help but marvel at the site once again.
