I know they are different for every story so here are mine!
1. Lycans can mask their scent if they do choose.
2. Mates can be found through scent and eye contact as long as the scent isn't masked.
3. Lycans pups develop fast. 1 year is about 2 for a Lycan pup.
4. Abilities are gene specific but can develop into other abilities. Elemental, demonic, telepathy and so on.
5. The wolf and human are separate entities but both share primal needs, such as hunting, mating and such.
6. Pups born outside of a mated pair are normally frowned upon in Lycan and werewolf society.
7. Lycans and werewolf forms are 2 separate forms.
8. Becoming the next alpha is blood passed not by defeat unless a challenge is presented and whoever submits wins. Murder does not pass the leadership.
