5. The Song

When Satang was fixing a drink for one of the guests at the club, Winny noticed a piece of paper on one of the tables. He went over and picked it up. Curious, he asked Phuwin if he had written it.

"No, not me. Maybe your husband."  Satang went over to Winny and asked him about the song.

"Yeah, it's mine. There's a song writing contest and I would love to win, but I probably wouldn't be able to. I'm not that good."

"You're kidding me, this is great baby. I bet you're gonna win it. What's the prize if you win?"

"We get to record it in a professional recording studio!  So it's kind of like Battle Of The Bands only in solo form." 

"Oh yeah, who's the professional singer that's gonna be recording your song with you?"

"Someone by the name of Moss. He's supposed to be really talented and is a pretty famous Thai Pop Star. (This character is my own. As far as I know there is no Thai pop star by this name. If there is, it's just a coincidence.)  

"Oh yeah, said Auo suddenly and everyone jumped. He happened to be there on a date with his boyfriend Boom. "He is freaking' handsome, but of course not as cute as my baby Boom!" Said Auo smiling and pinching his cheeks. Winny smiled a little but then asked his hubby if he wanted to go to the recording studio to support him while he auditioned.

"Oh that's okay.  Actually, I've been looking for someone to practice with for this audition, and I was going to play with someone."

"Why not me, your handsome husband. I know we're busy looking after our club, but we can afford to take a title time off. I would love to play with you again. We haven't played together since highschool." Winny looked at him warmly and fondly. True, they had both been so busy that they hadn't had a lot of alone time together, accept at night. 

So it was set, Winny and Satang were going to be both performing for Moss, in a month! They asked Auo and Boom to look after the place when it got close to performance time. Don't worry, they trusted them fully, and Boom promised they weren't gonna burn down the place! 

 So they , meaning Winny and Satang got together after every session at the Bar, and practiced for the famous pop star! It was really sweet watching them together, and they were so cute as they offered helpful suggestions to the other one and kept giving the other confidence. The song was really beautiful too. Here is the first verse. 

When we first met, I was shy and scared 

But seeing your face just made me brave and 

made me feel alive 

The stars shine brighter above every night 

Seeing you sleep next to me makes me feel safer 

especially when you hold me tight 

Let's stay together like this for all time 

For a thousand more years we'll always be forever~~

Winny looked at him deeply, and that was all Satang needed to know. He leaned in and kissed him slowly and at first, then more deeply. Something told him they were about to do more than kissing.

"Baby, we're at the bar, and it's after hours!"

"So, we own the place. We can do what we want." Winny said in a sexy tone that made Satang's heart weak. He was suddenly starving for his lips again, but not just his lips. Every part of him. 

Winny was strong enough to lift Satang and set him on the counter and kissed him madly and in a faster pace. Every part of them touching. When Satang felt him undo his buttons on his shirt, he grabbed his hands.

"Can we do this in a more private place?"

"The bathroom?" He asked deeply.

"No, our apartment. I just feel it's safer. Besides, I didn't bring any condoms."

 Winny understood, and so they decided to go home first. Then shower together, and then sleep together, the safe way. 

After it was over and Satang was almost asleep, Winny stroked his face, and apologized for being so forceful back at the club, and asked him if he made him uncomfortable in anyway.

"No of course not. You could never make me feel uncomfortable. I just think it's more proper to have sex in the privacy of your own home, with the doors locked, phones off and protection at the ready. Besides, like the song said, I want us to be together for a thousand years." Winny kissed him lightly and suggested that maybe they had met a thousand years ago and didn't even know it! 

"True! We could be the reincarnations of a couple before us! If so, do you think they were happy?" Winny nodded and rested his head against his chest.

"If they weren't happy, we wouldn't be together now, would we?"

After this, they said they loved each other and fell asleep.

That night, Satang dreamed of a boy who looked very much like Winny, but he wasn't Winny. He was on a beach looking out at the water, with tears in his eyes. Yet his slips were smiling. Not too far away was another boy who was out in the ocean waving his arms above the water. But he was happy, really happy, not drowning or anything. This was when Satang woke up. His heart speeding up a little. Why did this dream make him so anxious?

AN: I'm probably not going to a reincarnation story for Winny and Satang. It would just make it more complicated, and I don't know too much about it. I did how ever see, Until We Meet Again with Ohm/Fluke, and it was really tragic. So, I probably won't go that deep with this because I want my ff to be light and happy, especially for young adults reading this. Peace!
