10. Meeting The Parents

AN: Just want to give a big hug to everyone for voting for my chapters! Means a lot to me! Okay let's start the next chapter :)

Pond went up to Phuwin's door nervously, feeling like he was about to propose marriage to his boyfriend, which of course he would, one day!  But this special occasion was Pond meeting Phuwin's parents! He would also get to meet his sister, whom he felt extra nervous about meeting because she was blind. He never met a person who was blind before, but why should that make him nervous? He was the sister of the man he loved more than life itself.  

Pond was dressed in a nice tan collared shirt with silver buttins. Phuwin came out in a nice blue shirt with a brown zipper.   

"You look very handsome. Blue is such a good color for you." Said Pond smiling,

"Aww thanks. I can't wait for you to meet my family."

"Me too. I just hope they'll like me." Phuwin put his hand on his face and kissed him sweetly. "They'll love you, you know why? Because, I feel like you are my family already. I hope you don't think it's too soon to meet them." 

Pond said it was never too soon, besides they had already been dating for a month, and if things started getting really serious between them, why save it for later right? Besides, his parents would be happy that they reconnected and are now in a relationship.

They held hands as they walked to the car. They held hands while Phuwin was driving. They held hands when they went to the door.

"Don't be scared. My family is very kind and accepting. And my sister is shy, but very sweet.  She'll want to thank you for paying for her surgery."

"It's my pleasure. Some day, she will be my sister in law, I hope." Phuwin patted his head a little and then went inside to greet his mother who was at the table sipping tea and working on her knitting. She jumped up at the sight of them.

"Darling! I'm so glad to see you it's been so long!"
"It's only been a few weeks mom, relax. Mom, do you remember Pond?"

Phuwin's mom smiled and said she did remember, said it was sad that her boys had to be separated at such a young age and asked how they got back together. Phuwin told the story and his mom listen with admiration and a sweet expression on her face. 

"Are you two in a relationship?" They gazed at each other.

"I love your son very much, I hope this is okay. If not, I'll do what ever I can to prove we're meant for eachother." 

"Don't look so nervous! I'm very accepting and open to any kind of relationship! If you love my son, I'm happy. But if you hurt him, I'll see to it that your life will be miserable till the day you die!" She suddenly got all dramatic and pointed her needle she was using at him! Phuwin laughed and held her mom back for his boyfriend's safety.

"Mom please! Pond would never hurt me. Thanks for supporting our love, let's hope dad will feel the same."

"He will. He's a good man, he's just quiet and shy that's all, but he's a good man. Don't fear. You two sit down and I'll fix you lunch, shall I?"  Phuwin's mom asked them. As soon as they sat down, Pond heard a tapping noise coming from near by. It was Phuwin's sister Melody. 

(I decided to create Phuwin's sister's name just for the sake of her own safety and privacy)

Melody came out smiling and asked who was there.

"Hi sis, I'm back home to visit and I brought someone with me. My new boyfriend, Pond. Pond this is my sister."

"Hello, I've heard so much about you. Its nice to meet you." He put out his hand, then remembered she couldn't see it, so he gently took her hand in his and gave it a light shake.
