Present Day
22-Years-Old

The next day, Yoongi squeezed Aera's hand before he let it go and nervously knocked on the door in front of him. It only took a few moments for it to open and conceal Aera and Jungkook behind it.

"Hi, mom."

"My Yoongi!" his mother exclaimed, quickly pulling him into a hug. "I haven't seen you in so long! I've missed you!"

"I know, mom. I'm sorry about that."

"No, no, no, I'm just glad you're here now!"

"Mom, I have something important to tell you."

"What's that?"

"I'm getting married."

His mother's eyes widened. "What?"

"I proposed, and we're about to start working on wedding plans."

"Yoongi, I..." But she was speechless.

"I wanted to stop by and introduce you to my fiancee. Would you like to meet her?"

His mother looked around, confused as she didn't see anyone. "Yes, of course!"

Yoongi reached around behind the door and took Aera's hand. He then gently pulled her into view.

And his mother screamed.

"AERA!"

"Hi, Mrs. Min," Aera said with a small smile on her face.

"I..." She was once again struck speechless. Yoongi began to worry she might pass out.

"What do you think, mom? Do you think she's worthy of me to marry?"

His mother blinked. "Are you kidding?! You have to be worthy of her!"

Yoongi laughed loudly as Aera giggled. Yoongi's mother then pulled Aera into a hug. "I've been waiting fifteen years for this!" she exclaimed happily. "Oh, I always knew you two would end up together!"

Suddenly, Yoongi's father appeared at that door. "What's all this noise about?" he asked.

"Hey, dad."

"Yoongi! It's great to see y – " He cut himself off as he noticed Yoongi's and Aera's intertwined hands.

"Is it happening?"

"It's happening!" Yoongi's mother exclaimed.

"Finally!"

Yoongi laughed again. "So, you guys always knew?"

"Of course!" his father said. "It's been obvious since you were children."

Yoongi smiled awkwardly as Aera blushed. "I guess we were the last to know," Yoongi said to Aera.

"Apparently."

"They're getting married!" Yoongi's mother swooned. Yoongi's father raised his eyebrows.

"Are you really?!"

Both Yoongi and Aera nodded. Yoongi's father clapped him on the shoulder. "Well done, son."

Suddenly, Jungkook pulled on Aera's shirt from behind the door. Aera elbowed Yoongi's side and he addressed his parents again.

"We have something else to tell you, too."

"Oh, I don't think anything could be better than this!"

Yoongi chuckled. "Try us."

Aera then gently took Jungkook's hand and helped him step around the door. He immediately hid behind her and Yoongi's legs.
