Kyle's POV
"DADA!!" Kyle stood up from the hospital bed and went to hug the man in front of him
The man was startled but after a few seconds he hugged the child back
"I'm sorry but I'm not your Dada" the man explained
Kyle pulled away from the hug and cupped both of the man's cheek
"Look at these! what do you mean you're not my Dada? can you see your face? can you see my face? can you see we share the same features? look at my eyes we have the same eyes and even forehead and look at my jawline, see? it's as if I am your carbon copy!" Kyle explained
"I'm sorry but I'm not really your Dada, I don't have a child" the man once again said and me the child heart broken
"Don't cry, I'm sorry did I make you uncomfortable? I'm really sorry" the man said in a gentle voice
Kyle doesn't understand, he's not his Dada but his voice and his hugs were so warm that Kyle doesn't need any DNA test to prove it that he is his father
"Child, what's your name?" the man asked
"I'm Kyle, short for Kian Lee to make it full it's Kian Lee Mendoza Ramirez and you?" Kyle softly introduced himself
"I am Jaden" the man smiles at him
"Jaden? just Jaden? don't you have a surname? or a second name?" Kyle's curiosity struck at the wrong timing
"Oh, I'm sorry but aside from my name I don't really know anything" Jaden said
"huh? why?" Kyle asked again
"Well, I got into an accident 16 years ago, and so I happened to have a major head injury so I don't remember anything at all, even my name " Jaden chuckled but Kyle stood there, he was about to cry hearing it from the man
He got into an accident 16 years ago, just like my Dada, Kyle thought
"Then how do you know your name is Jaden?" Kyle asked making sure of every detail
"Your Doctor told me that it was my name" Jaden smiles again
"Doctor Raver?" Kyle asked
"Yes, actually he's my fiance" Jaden smiles again
"your what!!?" Kyle suddenly raised his voice startling the man
"Oh, I'm sorry it's just, fiance? that Doctor!?" Kyle asked again
"Why what's wrong?" Jaden asked
"Well, you kn—" Kyle was interrupted when Dr. Fuentes entered the room again giving signal to the man
"Oh, it's time to go, I don't actually know you but when I saw you here yesterday I don't know why I feel the urge to help you and just by looking at you like this I feel like I've known you ever since you were a baby" Jaden explained to now crying Kyle
"Stop crying, you shouldn't let strangers see you in such a vulnerable state, I need to go now if you ever need blood again, I'll be happy to give you some of mine again" Jaden hugged the boy again and left the room
Kyle fell on his knees after the guy went out, he doesn't know what to feel or what to say It feels like he's dreaming and just by that he lost consciousness again and as soon as he woke up he saw his Daddy sitting at the edge of his bed holding his hands
"Daddy?" he softly called for his Dad
"Yes baby? do you need something? are you feeling good?" Kian asked
"Just water Daddy" and just like that Kian went out of the room to get water for his son
Kyle's eyes wander through the room realizing it's his own room, so he finally got discharged
"So I finally dream about you Dada" Kyle said to his Dada's big picture frame on the wall of his room
Kian went back to the room, handing water to his smiling son
"Why are you smiling?" Kian asked
"I dream of Dada, Daddy" Kyle giggled
"He hugged me!" Kyle added
Kian can't help but to smile seeing his son's birthday wish to be fulfilled, he knew how much Kyle wanted to see his Dada even on his dream that he wished for it every year during his candle blowing on his birthday celebration.
"Kyle.." Kian softly and gently calls his son
"hmm?" Kyle mumbled as he was still drinking water
"Are you sure you're capable of attending school? what if you collapse again?" Kian worriedly ask
"Daddy, trust me I can handle it" Kyle winked at his Dad
Kian finally left Kyle's room, while Kyle sat there and giggled nonstop after remembering his dream, the gentle and warm hugs of his Dada, he will keep that memory forever
but then something crosses his mind
"Oh wait, I haven't addressed the issue about "her" ! Kyle thought remembering the conversation of his Daddy with his Uncles before he got sick
"I need to eliminate this girl first!" Kyle said to himself
