Chapter 6 - Jacob

Dylan finally submitted his assignment thanks to his Kuya for bringing the laptop charger to him, as he finally got to sit down his classmates called him

"Lee, someone's asking for you" his classmates shouts

Dylan stood up and saw his best friend standing at the door holding 2 bento boxes, so he fixed and gathered up his things and went outside the room

"Oho, someone really took time to cook huh?" Dylan teased his best friend

"Just eat it, you'll be eating for free but still have the audacity to tease the Chef " Jacob smacked Dylan's head

"Thank you so much Chef, sana mabuhay ka pa ng matagal" Dylan giggled

They sit at the cafeteria eating the lunches cooked by Jacob

Jacob is also in his last year he is taking up a Culinary Program, if you want to know how they become friends it is a literal mess

Flashback to when both of them are in High School~

"have you seen the news? the Mendoza Twin transferred here!" all the girls were giggling at the thought of the infamous twin

"what's so good about those bastards anyway? what's with the commotion?" Jacob asked one of his classmates

"Oh, if you're asking about the Mendoza Twin then let me tell you that those two both have the beauty and the brain" Aldrei smiled

"iw, what's with your mouth? why are you smiling so creepily?" Jacob asked again

"wait!? don't tell me you lik—" Jacob didn't manage to finish his words when Aldrei hands landed on his mouth shutting him up

"Don't be too loud you asshole!" Aldrei complained

Jacob doesn't like being in the spotlight so maybe that's the reason why he doesn't like the aura of the twin, but destiny really is getting on his nerves the twin was transferred to their class that means he will be going to see both of those faces every day. He sighed in frustration.

But as time went by, he found himself enjoying the company of Dylan. It started when they were paired for a project and he spent a night at the twins house where he saw the exact difference between the two, Unlike Asher, Dylan is more of a softie and fluffy character he doesn't know how to fight nor to defend himself. He saw the two of them fighting because someone was bullying the younger one but didn't bother to fight back which made the older angry

"Do you want me to carve a tracking device to you every fvcking time Dylan!?" Asher shouted

"Kuya, stop yelling please" Dylan is in tears

"Why did you let them punch you huh? you have your own hands why didn't you push them? Why did you stand there and receive everything they gave you? Are you freaking blind?" Asher continuously complained

"Kuya, stop it already!" Dylan burst out crying and this is when Asher finally snapped back and comforted his brother

"I'm sorry, I can't help myself. If anything happens to you Dylan, I'll kill the whole world" Asher said while trying to stop Dylan from crying

A realization hits from Jacob at that time the twins might have similar faces but other than that everything is different. Jacob is an only-child he never experienced having someone to protect nor the experience of having protected by someone so as he gets closer and closer to Dylan, he promised himself that he will treat Dylan as his own brother.

End of the Flashback~

Going back to the cafeteria...

"I bumped into Asher earlier" Jacob stated

"Oh, I forgot my laptop charger at home and he went here to give it to me" Dylan said while munching down the food

"the funny thing is, he thought I like you romantically" Jacob said and both of them gave a silent stare to each other

"Iww!" both of them said and laughed again

"why would he think that? I can't even imagine calling you with any endearment" Dylan complained

"right? me too, I was caught off guard when he asked me if I'm doing some moves on you, iww that's disgusting" Jacob said and they both laughed again

The lunch time was over Jacob left Dylan since he still has classes to attend to, so as Dylan. They waved each other goodbye. Dylan was on his way to their classroom when received a text from his boyfriend, Kian.

"I'll be going home tonight" Kian texted, but not as the usual thing this message didn't manage to get Dylan happy because he's still sulking over the matters that happened a week ago.

"Then go home, I'll be staying at Jacob's condo then" Dylan replied

"what?" Kian replied

suddenly Kian called him and so he picked up

Kian
What do you mean you'll be at Jacob's condo? I just said I'm going home which means I want to see you at home

Dylan
for what? I thought you were going home just to sleep anyway what's there to look forward to?

Kian
Dylan? can you hear yourself? what the fvck is wrong with you?

Dylan
what is wrong? You, You're the one who's wrong Kian. I'm tired of this set up, it's been 4 years but I haven't even held your hands in front of anyone, not even my friends nor my brother.

Kian
Dylan, I'm sorry about that, baby please babawi ako, wait for me at home please? babawi ako promise

Dylan hang up because their professor is already in front preparing to start the class so he just texted Kian before hiding his phone

"My professor is here, see you at home then" Dylan
