The Slytherin Quidditch team had just finished a gruelling practice session.
The sun was setting outside, casting a dim glow over the Quidditch pitch, but inside the changing rooms, the atmosphere was charged with the adrenaline from the match.
Aria paced in front of her locker, her green Slytherin Quidditch robes damp with sweat and her hair wild from the wind.
She caught sight of Draco across the room. His usually pristine appearance was a mess, his hair dishevelled, and his shirt clinging to his chest from the sweat.
He looked up and smirked when he noticed her watching. There was always that cocky edge to him, the kind that made Aria want to wipe that smug grin off his face-but in a way that made her pulse race.
They'd been fake dating for months now, keeping up appearances in front of their friends and teammates, but lately, the tension between them had been growing unbearable.
There was something about the way he'd looked at her during practice today, the way he'd smirked every time she beat him to the Quaffle or when he'd brushed too close to her mid-air, that made her feel... reckless.
As the last of their teammates filtered out of the changing room, Aria leaned back against the lockers, crossing her arms.
Draco was still lingering, taking his time as though he had no intention of leaving anytime soon.
"You always take your time after practice, don't you, Malfoy?" Aria remarked, her voice dripping with sarcasm, though there was an undeniable undertone of challenge in her tone.
Draco glanced up, wiping sweat from his brow with a towel, his eyes locking onto hers with that familiar glint of amusement. "Only when there's something worth sticking around for."
Aria felt a spark shoot through her at his words. She narrowed her eyes, pushing off from the locker and walking toward him with slow, deliberate steps.
She was tired of dancing around whatever was happening between them. Tonight, she wasn't going to let him take control.
"Is that so?" she asked, her voice soft but laced with an edge as she stopped in front of him.
Her hands found the hem of her Quidditch jersey, pulling it off in one swift motion, leaving her in a tank top that clung to her body.
Draco's eyes flickered down to her, his jaw tightening, but he kept his composure, leaning back against the wall with his arms crossed over his chest.
"You're full of surprises, Aria," he murmured, though his voice had deepened slightly, betraying his calm façade.
Aria smirked, taking another step closer until she was directly in front of him, close enough to feel the heat radiating from his body.
She could see the way his breathing quickened, the way his muscles tensed under her gaze. For once, she was in control, and she liked it.
"Maybe you should stop pretending like you're not enjoying this," she whispered, her lips just inches from his ear.
