"This is a fresh start love I hope that I don't receive a call from Mr. Twomey about you getting into any fights " I nod at her "don't worry Edel I won't cause any trouble " she looks sideways and glances at me "good lad yourself " she smiles, we're sitting in the car ,this is my first year without anyone of my siblings or there friends in school ,Shannon and her friends graduated last year while ,Joey ,Aoife ,Johnny ,Gibsie and the others the year before, and it feels so weird not having them around,as we enter tommen's parking lot I see students walking into the building,some talking to others, walking alone , listening to music,going on with there life's. when edel park the car I look at her and smile,it's crazy I never thought I'll be able to feel the love of a mother but edel sure did give me that warmth's"have a good day. Love " she hold my cheek in her hands and kisses my forehead "bye dellie " I tell her before I head over to the main building ,before I could even enter the building , I feel someone jump over my back ,nearly knocking me over "you big Eejit "I scream as I try to get James of me , when I finally get him off me he's standing smirking at me "missed me ?" I glare at him"not even a little "he laugh "oh come on lynchy I know you did "I raise my middle finger at him "fuck you "I start walking down the halls and he runs after me "lad chill out "he snickers "hey take a puff "he gives me the cigarette he was hiding under his school jumper as if no one will notice the smoke . I take it from him and inhale it keep it there for a few seconds and then exhale "where is everyone" I ask and by everyone I mean our friend group Which is made out of us five , me ,him ,Nolan,Bridget and Ciara.before he could answer my question Nolan waves at us ,we head over to him "hey 4" Nolan nodes at me "hey t " Bridget smiles at me and I can't help but smile back at her .This girl reminds me of clarie all the time,she's a walking sunshine ball too happy all the time,and she has so much energy for someone her size,at 6,2 I'm taller than all my other friends and especially Bridget since she's at most 5,3,looking at Ciara who was staring at her phone ,she noticed us standing next to them finally,smirking "hey softie "i scoff "oh fuck of " last year we had a backing sale so me and Ciara were paired up, and when I saw a little kid crying over his spilled brownies and his parents weren't next to him I spent the rest of the day helping him find them and buying him sweets with my money,since then she started calling me softie "won't you give it a bleeding rest it was the right thing to do " I glare at her" oh I know trust me but I don't know why you're acting all tuff guy when you're a big softie at heart,I'm just reminding you " she says all sweet smile I nearly want to tackle her to the floor to erase that smile " . We start talking about summer break ,"you don't understand,it was like getting high but just with candies,like seriously I couldn't talk or function I was so full"James continued talking about his vacation in new York.since America is his home country he visits it each summer break with his parents since he moved her first year ,even tho I want to strangle him to death most of the time he is the only person I trust With my life.the bell suddenly rang ,telling us it's time to go class we said goodbye and me and Ciara headed to English together.hoping this year can go as easy as possible I entered the classroom.
