It's been a couple days since I've been in school. It's now Friday and I'm ready to leave. I also gave Amara her binder back and told her to stop doing stuff like that cause I didn't need her handouts. Coach Stevens had finally given me my jersey and told me that we had conditioning every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. She also added me to a group chat of the whole team.
After the last class I had today, I decided to go visit Auntie Cece before I leave school to get some food. I came up to her and she gave me a kiss on the head.
"You leaving already?" she asked.
"Yeah, ima go get something to eat and come back for conditioning." I answered.
"Alright. Don't forget Bryson is staying over. Are you still picking him up or do you want me to drop him off?" she reminded me.
"I can still pick him up. You think I can get him some food or do you want me to stop spoiling him like that?" I asked with a smirk.
"Girl now you know you don't even listen to me when it comes to Bryson. Y'all are the dynamic duo that doesn't follow what anyone says. I'll cash app you some money so you don't waste any of yours." she said while chuckling.
"Alright. Well ima head out. I'll see you later auntie" I told her and hugged her before I left.
"Bye bye sweetheart. Drive safe." she said.
"Thank you" I said before I got out of the gym.
I walked out of the school and went straight to my car. I put my backpack in the trunk and I drove to Panera since I was lowkey craving their flatbreads.
When I got to Panera, I parked my car in the parking lot and walked inside. I immediately went to a kiosk and ordered a flatbread and a drink. When my order was placed, I sat down at an empty table in the corner and went on my phone.

When I heard my name get called, I went up to go get my food. When I got back to my table, I heard the door of the restaurant open and I heard a whole bunch of chatter. I saw Amara standing with a little crowd and saw her girlfriend standing right beside her.
We made eye contact which made me quickly sit my ass down. I started to eat and watched some tiktoks to pass the time. While I was halfway done with my food, a person sat in front of me.
"So, I see you still order your usual" Amara said with a little smile.
"Aren't you supposed to be with your friends and most importantly your girlfriend?" I asked her with a little bit of an attitude.
"Chill ma they'll be ight. So I heard you made it onto the soccer team, congrats." she said with a smile.
"Thanks. Look I think you sho-" I tried to say but she cut me off.
