"Do you like him?"

Aaliyah stops in her tracks looking at Sammy "What?"

"Do you like him...the guy?" Sammy says eating a snack, sitting on her bed

"What? No...why would you think that" Aaliyah says dropping her bag on the floor, gathering her laptop and plugging it.

"Saw him dropping you off earlier," Sammy says getting off the bed "If you like him, that's fine"

"I do not....he...he just keeps attaching himself to me...said he saw my face and he needed to just...I guess...know me better, maybe he fell in love...?"

"Fell in love? Aaliyah you know college boys especially boys on the football team typically run on lust rather than love....he's a blonde, tall, athletic rich boy and I'm sure he has probably kissed at least 20 girls"

"Maybe....maybe he's not like that you know...maybe he's...respectful," Aaliyah says sorting out her laundry "Plus if that is true...you would expect people to bang on his door"

"His brothers were womanizers when they were in college Aaliyah...what makes you think he won't do the same"

Aaliyah begins thinking to herself before sighing "I don't care...it's not like I like him or anything...we could just be friends and that's it... speaking of friends...how was the interview?"

"Typical...where do you see yourself in 5 years, what are you bringing to the company, what are your greatest accomplishments....5 minutes of the basic interview for such a rich company but they said they'll get to me later...which means I have to be nice to your boyfriend so he can help me get that internship"

"First of all he's not my boyfriend, second of all you're using someone just for your benefit...isn't that what you were warning me about like days ago..."

"Those are two different cases," Sammy replies arranging her small library by her desk

"How?" Aaliyah says as she begins to wear another set of clothes, a flare pant, and a black and white top, and soon fixes her hair in the room mirror.

"One of the cases involves the bedroom and the other one is for me to get the internship which is what your boyfriend would want...where are you going?"

"Grab some files from the library...study there and maybe just eat dinner there too...you wanna come along...?" Aaliyah says carrying her bag

"Nah...I wanna just crash and watch some series...if I don't sleep by 3 am then I'll probably join you..."

"I'll be at the dorm at that time..."

"I know" Sammy says earning an eye roll from Aaliyah

"Catch you later," Aaliyah says heading out of the room. Hearing a soft see ya from Sammy as she closes the door.

"Are you always stalking me?" Aaliyah says as she walks towards Benedict and his friend James

"Nah actually, I think you're the one doing the stalking " Benedict chuckles "But nah, just came from football practice and was just picking up my friend from his baseball practice"

"Oh...hi" Aaliyah says waving at James who gives her a wink in return

"I'm James Prescott...must have seen my twin sister around...yelling cowabunga while her skateboard...such a freak," James says shaking Aaliyah's hand

"Nice to meet you...I'm Aaliyah," she replied with a nod and a smile, the same smile she had given to Benedict, which he noticed.

"So where are you planning to go?" Benedict asks and the trio walk away the baseball field
